Started riding at age 14. Still riding at age 72. You can be a “Biker” without being a Wino on wheels. Alcoholics and Addicts whether on Bikes or walking are still what they are; Alcoholics and Addicts. Outlaws are what they are, riding or walking. In my opinion, A Biker would rather be riding than driving and if they want to live, they’re carful, not careless. A Biker loves freedom so they do their best to keep from being locked up. As far as I’m concerned, Bums on Bikes are not Bikers, they’re just Bums on Bikes. To me, Bikers are all about riding, nothing else.

While I admire anyone who truly lives the life and rides hard as bikers I must also say that you need not be 1%er in order to qualify. I have ridden all my life and yet worked a legitimate job, raised a family, and lived within the law. One does not need to be an outlaw to qualify as a real biker. Brotherhood is possible while maintaining a law abiding lifestyle. To think otherwise is simply being narrow minded.

Makes me laugh these guys are the real hard living,hard riding real bikers of yesteryear when society condemned them and there way of life, now today that same society but different generation want to look like them and ride like them and ACT like them after they finish work say in the office or doctors surgery, or tough week in court being a lawyer what an insult. Yes of course society ride bikes they work for it so enjoy them but to pretend that they are hardcore bikers is as i say an insult to my generation and to these men and women who are passed over or still here today yes the true real badass bikers of yesteryear

I have ridden motorcycles for 50 years and I have never wanted to look like these guys, ride with these guys, drink beer with these guys, and thank God none of them live near me! I do see them decked out in "motor clothes " quite often driving around in trucks covered in HD stickers! What a tough bunch
All the biker types I've met that looked like this were some of the coolest, friendliest people I've met while riding. YMMV, but in my experience they're like stoners, but on motorcycles.
