I worked at a jail and prison. The cameras we used have a for low fov camera that make you look odd. Also people dress different and have different hair cuts in prison/jail many times. They also almost always gain 20-30 pounds the first year.

As someone who's done photography for over 20 years, a camera lens is extremely unlikely to ever be able to come close to creating this level of dismorphia. Menopause also doesn't account for all the changes to her nose, only the tip drooping.
