Im constantly searching for RDA RUclipsrs/Players who tested the deck a lot and you are one of the better ones. I would love to see and updated combo guide with that supay + bone combo you speak of.
Great video! I really like this deck and I enjoy this kind of videos where you share your experience with it. Would love to see a combos video. Also I would like to know your opinion about the not yet released card Red Lotus King - Do you think it's a good extender for the deck? Would you replace it for Wildwind?
I have not tested it yet, but it's definitely on my watch list. I believe it's a strong card, especially if your opponent tries to interact with Soul, and also has the ability to make the endboards way stronger. The only thing I'm worried about is that it doesn't look too promising in combo with the bad tuners (like Crimson, Vision etc.), so it won't solve all our issues
Very cool video bro, congrats on the result 🎉 your first video helped me a lot when I decided to play this deck and I had a lot of fun these past months
Thanks so much for the update. I got into Yu-Gi-Oh and learned the game from your original rda videos. Would love to see your ideas for this list after LEDE, specifically using an rda package in lightsworns? Also a combo video through different handtraps like shifter/droll/ash+imperm would be really helpful. Thanks so much
That's awesome, I love to hear it! Hope you'll keep enjoying the game and the content. The next video will probably be a reflection on how my RDA lists changed over the span of 6 months, with the addition of replays to justify those choices. For the next list I think we can wait some time, cause we will see a new format for Ycs Raleigh, and then a new one after LEDE hits the field
Every form of content on this deck is really appreciated! Contrats for the top8 although it was for your missplay. Sometimes happens to want to have 2 synkrons bc you can make supernova with scarred to play better under nib and crow\bystials\belle at the same time (soul+crimson) Soul+synkrons can put abyss at the 5th summon (while avoiding belle\bystials\crow) and if oppo nibs you on abyys 5th summon you can still play through it. Idk if it's enough to justify it at 2 tho since in this format you want to have 2+ht and as much starters\live cards as possible
If you just sit down and try to play hands, you'll realize immediately that you almost never want to draw synkron, cause it's not a real extender after being interrupted on soul/bone, does nothing in combination with Supay etc. It's basically only good if we already have access to soul+bone+vision, and even then, if we want to end on 2 interruptions, we cannot even recycle vision from the gy most of the times. I'll never play in multiples a card that doesn't help to play through interruptions nor to push going 2nd! The cards that I classified as engine requirements are the ones that don't lead to a play, and usually our weak hands involve 2 of them
No, since we have an issue finding non-tuners and that can only lead to tuners. I'd rather play Small World (as I did when I didn't had Prosperity): it can guarantee Bone and even add a Kaiju when going 2nd
Yet again awesome video! I hear your concern about extenders in this deck. Now that this deck is available in MD I actually did some testing myself. And I saw that Void Apocalypse is an amazing extender. When they ash/imperm Soul Resonator. We can play Void Apocalypse : Discard a card, foolish our Bone Archfiend. Then send our Void Apocalypse to the grave and special summon our Bone Archfiend. Would really wanne know your opinion about this because like in the comments ppl already said you are one of the only channels with such an extend knowledge about the deck!
I thought about Void Apocalypse when the deck was released, but I didn’t had them available (I rushed to make the list in 2 days) and then I left the idea. Of course, if they interact with Soul it’s the perfect extender (like drawing Bone itself). Altough, that’s the best case scenario. What if they stop Bone or Red Rising? We will have to pitch another card from the hand, just to send a vision and maybe waste Crimson Gaia just to access HotRed/Scarred without trap. Even drawing foolish itself, in those scenarios, is not ideal, and that’s why I say that it’s always wrong to imperm Soul!
I'm debating between playing board breaker such as 3x droplet, 2x tactics, and 3 imperms. Personally hand traps are hit or miss where board breakers are a 90% chance of OTK. Which would you recommend?
Handtraps fit way better since they support your board when you go 1st, and they’re also the best type of non-engine in this current format and specifically against Snake Eye. You could try a mix, like 3 ash 3 imperm and such, but at that point the gameplan against the most popular deck will be completely random. Board breakers are not reliable against SE, and playing board breakers instead of ht’s means that when you go 2nd you are always going to play against a full board + their non engine, wich is an impossible task for the archetype
Great video and detailed explanation, love the RDA content and would want to see more of it. Is there a way to counter your opponent holding Nibiru for the very end after you combo and end on standard Dis Pater, Hot Red, Red Zone? If you have Uvualoop access, you could end with (1) Red Zone and (2) Dis Pater or Hot Red (with Red Zone if you had Uvualoop access) on your opponent's turn, but is that all your end board can finish with? Also with the Wanted build, is it better to play 2 or 3 Diabellstar? I think drawing Wanted is better but not sure if consistency wise having 3 Diabellstar is needed.
If you have Uvualoop access, you’ll save one of the effs and if your opponent Nibs you’ll banish the Dis Pater. On your opponent turn, Dis Pater will make Gaia trigger to summon back Scarred, and that will also make Red Zone live. This alone means two pops + a floater, and was achieved using Soul + a discard (in this case Uvualoop or Crimson). You still have 3 cards left that can be non engine (assuming you didn’t had a way to push into a Supernova immediately). As for Diabellstar, that’s completely optional, I don’t think I’ll play 3 cause we value a lot the Wanted draw
Very good video and deck profile! Congrats for your top and thanks for sharing your list! I was wondering: Would adding a Bystial engine to this deck be a good idea?
As I’ve always said, I don’t think that Bystials on their own fit well into the deck, cause they’re not real extender if you get interrupted on Soul/Bone/Red Rising. I’d rather play them as non-engine if they’re good into the format, and in that case you can also benefit from them being lv6 bodies. I would not play Lubellion/Regained/Beast cause are just bricks or terrible cards to draw going 2nd
Congratulations on top 8! Love this deck and profile. If you could afford the wanted package would that be the ideal package and just swap it out with the supay engine? Also would more content on your RDA theory and your OTS match ups and in depth analysis for that event.
Thanks for your words! I had the Wanted package and I believe it's better in a vacuum, cause it doesn't come with an hard brick like Supay (Even drawing Jet or Sinful can contribute to your plays), it's better to push going 2nd (Diabellstar alone can out an Apollousa) and it's better under Droll. However, in a regional/local environment you'll face a lot of Shifters, and being able to end on Dis Pater + Hot Red with just Soul + Supay and a discard is so good that I'll stand with that. Maybe if you expect a lot of Snake Eyes you can confidently play Wanted instead
Would love to see more competitive RDA :DDD I enjoy your explanations. Would you ever side out the Supay package with the Bystials going second? From playing recently, having the Bystials make it easier to break boards going second. And it is risky to -1 to try and summon out duskwalker + supay, or worse drawing Supay instead of handtrap when our going second is already quite weak.
I have to play more with this pattern, but I'm already doing it against decks that summon Apollousa, cause Supay it's just a dead draw against them. Also, going 2nd is way easier to summon and to benefit from Bystials. However, you'll see that we become more susceptible to handtraps, and if we play against Pure Snake-Eye we can expect at least 2 in pretty much every single hand, even if they went first
@@bluemoy Ok thank you for reply. I would love to hear how the final Kash matchup went and what is the misplay. Kash is a deck I am still struggling against as my knowledge of the Kash strategy is not great.
Unfortunately the missplay happened in round 4, against Floo. He opened with 2 DD Crow's, wich is already crazy. I still established a Dis Pater + Imperm, but he had Advent and other stuff so he made his full board. He used poorly his interruptions on my turn 3, and had only Empen + Avian left, into my Talent + full engine. I didn't even needed Talent to win, but somehow I was able to mess up. And of course I lost the other game to Harpie's Feather Storm. The only other 4-0 was playing Kash, but I had to face Fire King Snake Eye in last round, and that went pretty standard
It's another access to Bone, wich is great if people tries to interrupt Soul. Not a bad card cause it can provide both tuners and non tuners depending on the situation. I might play some copies in the future, especially if we get a non tuner Fiend that works from the graveyard
@@bluemoy great your guide video was helpful and everything but my main struggle is to pilot it correctly and how to go other routes to combo off or like bait off 3 hand traps and so
I have to be honest, Dis Pater can’t be replaced. It’s the most important card of the extra deck, both in terms of interruptions, playing through handtraps, re establish your board etc. I hope you will find a way to get one copy soon!
I’ll be honest, Dis Pater is the most important card of the deck 🥹 Not only it provides interrupts, but it’s also your main way to re-establish your board due to the synergy with Red Zone and Uvualoop. It’s an integral part of your otk lines when going 2nd, it improves your end boards (banish Scarred with Uvualoop and then summon him back to make Red Zone live) and so on. I hope you’ll be able to receive it someday, maybe as a gift, or that they reprint it soon

Absolutely not! In fact it’s a bad card for the deck. Terrible to draw going 2nd, also we don’t have 20+ free spots in the deck, wich means that we’re cutting from going 2nd cards to just prevent some ht’s go 1st. Wich handtrap do we fear? Any two card combination that gets access to uvualoop plays around Nib if you sequence your plays correctly, If you spend your first search to have both a tuner+non tuner Droll only prevents trap access, and so on. In all those cases, if you had an handtrap instead of crossout, you’re just going to have one more interrupt on your opponents turn, and make fair trades really fits with a strategy that has at least two cards that can provide resources each turn. Crossouts shines in decks that have an almost unbreakable board, wich is not our case since most of the Times we are going to make 3 interrupts (2 pops and a generic negate). Being able to pair this boards with ht’s is key, ehi le also infinitely better if you lose the diceroll (especially in a format like this)
I won't play it in the main deck, cause it's not ideal against Snake-Eye (or at least not better than the others) and there are no Crow or Bystials in the main deck in the format.
