Kelly Rowland Speaks on Her Body's Snapback After Having Her Baby | Sway's Universe

She’s a Grammy-winning singer, songwriter and actress. In addition to that, she has now added the title of author to her catalog. Kelly Rowland joined us at Sway in the Morning to talk about her first book, “Whoa Baby!: A Guide for New Moms Who Feel Overwhelmed and Freaked Out (And Wonder What the #*@& Just Happened).”
After giving birth to her 2-year-old son, Titan Jewell Weatherspoon, Rowland collaborated with her personal OB/GYN Dr. Tristan Emily Bickman and began writing a mother’s guide on what to expect post-pregnancy. “Whenever you have your baby, there was no information to tell you anything that happens mentally, physically, spiritually, emotionally and I was like, that needs to be done.”
Rowland talks about the effects that pregnancy had on her body. She joked, “Snap back is not real for everybody.” She admits that it took her almost a year to get back to her pre-baby weight.

Oooh, you look really pretty, Kelly. Now, I don't really like yo' music all like that, but you did one song that I genuinely love, _Can't Nobody._ I love that song. Imma pass on the book, but I just came to say that I wish you well. I learned a little Spanish, French, Chinese and Japanese when I was in elementary school.
