Allah (swt) is very pleased with a person who leaves his sleep in the middle of the night, only to worship His Lord. Tahajjud prayer can be performed only by the one who is sincere in his love, faith and worship of Allah (swt) as there can be no riya (show off) at this time of the night.
May ALLAH give us the ability to get up nd pray tahajjud. (Ameen)
Narrated Anas bin Malik:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "There is none amongst the Muslims who plants a tree or sows seeds, and then a bird, or a person or an animal eats from it, but is regarded as a charitable gift for him."

Sayiddul istighfar
Narrated Shaddad bin Aus: The Prophet (ﷺ) said “The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:
اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي، لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي، فَاغْفِرْ لِي، فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ
“Allahumma anta Rabbii laa ilaaha illaa anta, Khalaq-tanii wa ana ‘Abduka, wa ana a’la a’hdika wa wa’dika mastata’tu, a’udhu bika min sharri maa sana’tu, abou-ou laka bini’matika a’laiya, wa abou-ou laka bidhanbii faghfirli, fa innahuo laa yaghfiru-dhunouba illaa anta.”
The Prophet (ﷺ) added. “If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise.”
