Jason Isbell expressed his dissatisfaction at the COVID era CMA awards that your dad and Jerry Jeff Walker's passing were not acknowledged. I grew up listening to your dad and Jerry Jeff at deer camp when I was a kid. I wanted to see them perform live, but never made it happen. I was buying tickets for the show, thinking that Todd was the closest I could get to Jerry Jeff. Then BOOM! The other act with Todd - Tommy Prine! I can't describe the "beyond coincidence" buzz I felt, but I sure bought the tickets quickly!
