To everyone passing judgement on the siblings at times giggling or not showing ‘enough’ emotion, you have to realize that everyone grieves differently. This was not a funeral. It was a celebration of life. The purpose was to remember funny and heartwarming moments. To uplift one another. They have the entire rest of their lives to grieve. Is it so wrong that they take a moment to remember her in a positive light?
Let’s also not forget that there are tons of people in the audience. Is it that far out of the realm of possibility that somebody smiled at the siblings, a child or baby did something funny, and that’s why they may have smiled or giggled? Or how about the fact that this family surely had days and days of misery and grief, sleepless nights, immense anguish and sadness, that perhaps they are tired, feeling emotionless, and without tears to cry? You cannot dictate how people should and should not act after experiencing such a tragic situation, that will forever change each of them.
This is not the time nor place to make such terrible assumptions or speculate.

I was making jokes at my sisters funeral. When you have a loss so huge youre in shock and your emotions literally are in denial. I totally get it and theres nothing wrong with it whatsoever. People who say there is have never lost someone close to them, clearly. What makes you cry is a few months after the loss, when you hear their favorite song... or their favorite movie comes on. When the sinking realization that theyre really never coming back sneaks in.
I agree with you Meii its not a Funeral; it is a remembrance of her life and yes we all grieve in our own way!

I also lost a child. Joey was 16 when he was shot n killed,over a pool game.
My ex didn't let me know till 2 weeks later...after he was buried. For years I was in therapy. I feel your pain..theres nothing else worse than losing your child 😥❤ please take care, n love each other, like never before!... R.I.P. Tristyn

I am truly sorry for your loss. I don't know what's wrong with these kids nowadays! I heard about all of the harassment this lovely family received after finding out their beautiful child was taken. I'm a mom. My kids are 20 and 21 and I have one 4 month old grandson and I can't imagine losing them. I don't know all of the details behind this and I don't know the relationship she had with the boy who took her life but what I do know is that you can't trust anyone and these days it's so hard to call people a friend. God bless her family and friends.
