Hey everyone - I just want to say I’m noticing the comments about talking too much. Obviously I’m farther ahead but I’m taking in your criticism accordingly :-) Heads up, I do end up pausing more often later down the line when I go on tangents or have long comments. Just thought I’d let ya’ll know that! Why I ended up taking a lot In this one?! 😂 not entirely sure- might not been into the story all too much and had lot of thoughts or was excited for what they were doing for this new season. Also might be these are around when the unedits started so the edited versions are probably more of the ‘talking bits’ and less empty space the dialogue. Maybe a mix of it all that plus me just being a chatter box. Anyway not asking for ya’ll not to keep commenting just thought I’d say something about it. Love ya’ll!!! 💜
I read your comment before I watched this video, so I just have to say I Would have happily listen to you chat away , just to hear you say" this must be an intergalactic motorcycle gang " 😏
New ti channel, but my opinion is: Why would anyone watch a reaction channel if they _don't_ want to have the person talk and react? The only suggestion I would give (a year late) is to make sure to pause if you're going to say a lot, which you've been doing so far (only been watching the Doctor so far)
Sometimes small comments from episodes and the small little deathless can be important for later more important episode down the line . Every detail counts
tbh, we don't know how much time passed for the doctor since Rose was gone. There are always signs that he has rather large scale adventures himself between seasons and companions.
As far as what we know is definitely canon, I always assumed Ten's adventures played out more or less in real time and he actually had a really short life. Hence his line in his finale: "I could be so much more."
@@aaronking5640 "I could be so much more." was in reference to the current regeneration, he was referring to himself in that specific regeneration. Whereas "I've lived too long" was in reference to his life as a whole, as the doctor, all regeneration included.
The 9th Doctor was 900 to 901 years old when he regenerated in 10 and 10 is 907 when he regenerates into 11 (it’s the main reason why 10 was so against regenerating, cause for a Timelord who can live upwards of thousands of years per regeneration 10 wasn’t even a blip) so no not much time has since Rose.
I was just coming to say this. I like him a lot but he keeps missing plot points, great references, and character development and I want to just wave my hands in front of his face and shout for him to pay attention :P Glad he's started pausing!
It will be a bit before the show goes HD. After season 4 there are a short series of specials bridging into season 5. Those specials are when the show transitioned to HD. And then with season 5 there is a marked upgrade in production quality.
I know you mock (or at least laugh at) the idea of time travel selling the idea of traveling with the doctor, but remember people have lives to live, time travel allows you to have an adventure and return home before any time passed, now obviously with rose she got addicted and didn’t want to go home in the end, and with the doctors sometimes inability to accurately fly the tardis instead of getting home a second later it’s a year later
Dunno if you figure it out later in the episode, but you have seen Freema Agyeman before... In the season 2 episode "Army of Ghosts" as Adeola Oshodi (the first of the Torchwood staff at Canary Wharf to get converted into a Cyberman). The episode confirms Adeola as Martha's cousin (since, you know, both are played by the same actress).
I live how this episode shows some cheeky writing. David Tennant struggles with not reverting back to his Scottish accent when saying -oo sounds. So, they designed this episode and species just to make him say “a Judoon Platoon upon the Moon”. I also love your videos!

I know you're ahead quite a way but, in case you haven't picked up on it yet, the companions usually get their own themes, hence the different music at the end. Also, all those things you listed for a good companion? Donna ticks them all 😁
Don't forget, there are unknown quantities of time between most episodes. Yes, The Runaway Bride ran directly on from Doomsday, when Rose left, but it is implied months or even years can pass between companions.
This episode came about in now small part, to the writers punking Tennant. Apparently he has a lot of trouble keeping his English accent when saying "oon", so the writers decided to fill an episode where he had to use it frequently, most notably having him say, "Juddoon platoon on the Moon." :D
The marker makes a lot of sense. Too many sci-fi shows try to get too technical and add in things that make no sense, just because it looks futuristic. But no matter what the technology, a marker is a simple tool, and quite cheap. Most anything else would add unnecessary expense for no benefit.
3:34 When the RAZR came out I was deciding on a new phone to get and it was between that and the Sony-Ericsson s710a, which is a spinner instead of a flip phone. I ended up going with the Sony because I thought it looked cooler and it had a better camera.
Good lord, I wish you would take the advice of some of your viewers and their comments! That year that Eccleston missed, with Rose, it threw things out for quite a while!
