Leo Amuedo performs one of his signature songs, "Otoñal," using the Jam X and Compression Preset 2: Purple Squeeze. Leo has been a fan of the Apogee Jam series since the beginning but he is finding a new level of inspiration thanks to Jam X's built-in analog compression. Presets 1 & 2 are his particular favorites when it comes to recording with his nylon acoustic.

Does he play without nails?

I asked him directly, and he wears very short nails on his index, middle, and ring fingers.
You can achieve this tone without nails, with a little practice and calluses on your fingers.
Leonardo also uses and prefers a very low action on the guitar.
