I am sure you would have answered this in other videos but still I believe this is quite important - How do we define conjunction? What should be the max degrees of difference between upagraha & cusp /planet's degrees, that would make these upagrahas important in a chart? I do agree that a report on upagrahas will be useful but I feel that there can be more to it. eg, I personally have a habit of interpreting moon-rahu-ketu together as they all represent the mind's inclinations. Maybe interpretations for upagrahas should also take into consideration the underlying planet's condition? For example, I have Yama in my 6th house conjunct with Moon. You mentioned that bad upagrahas turn good in Upachaya houses. But will Yama turn bad in 6th? It so happens that I am capricorn ascendant and Jupiter aspects moon as well. There's definitely alignment of things happening here...but for the good or bad? It would help if the report brings out such intricacies. For the time being, can you please interpret this example? :)

There's a lot of "negativity" that makes itself apparent in my chart when using these invisible planets. but they pinpoint that in a way no other technique has done for my particular chart. (Even then, that wouldn't explain your 19:14:00 figure.) If my calculations are correct, then the formula is "Sunrise + WatchLength x (Watch# − 1)"
Great video Vic! I have a question. When you said the upagrahas depend on the planet dignity, you meant that as shad bala based dignity or only the sign based dignity? In most things I've been using the shad bala dignity rather than the simplified sign only dignity with better results. Any thoughts on that?

its just, remove crown from the diagram, work with the other six. start with cancer on the top right of forehead, go down, then conitnue back up in order up the left side.
I also got Gulika on the ascendent. That explains a lot! Mrtyu on my Mercury and the Mercury one on my destroyed Sun! Hahaa misery 100% and that is how it is. My miserable poor life eventually did lead me to self realization, so I guess that is said to be the ultimate goal but it is not a goal. It is just seeing what was not seen before.

the end rises first. we take the time of rising of the segment, and the first bit that rises is the end.

Mantreshwar seems to have said the sign-dignity of the lord correlates to the dignity of the upagraha.
