I need you all to know that I find the description of Ba-Ado-Mishram breaking everything to be extremely hot. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. Next episode is Wind and Truth Reactions 1, coming the weekend after release! We'll see when I get I edited, but either the 14th or 15th. -Eric
The reason why Vangie wasn't bound by the same limitations as Rayse was, was because he's still new to his power. It's a sort of similar reason why Vin was able to attack Ati in HoA
I'm really hoping the "take the capitals" thing is *a* loophole and not *the* loophole, it'd be super lame if that was the big trick Vargodium saw at the end of RoW that we've been teasing all these years.
Not sure how widely thought this is but I am absolutely convinced the Herald madness is at least partially from Ba Ado Mishram being sealed as well. The heralds are a sorta spren after all. Keen on them suddenly all going sane again when BAM gets released. Also, Shin invasion of Urithuru???
I've been saying this from years now and everyone seems to ignore It. If the heralds are mad because of old they are, they should be crazy since even before the desolations because they come from Ashyn. At least they should be close to become crazy very long ago. And if It is because of the time in braize, we should have seen them mad in the way of kings prelude. We also see them very well in the dalinar vision when he touches nale. Every single one of the Things we know about them in the past describe thems very well. I think It has to do for sure with either mishram, or whatever honor did that he regrets
I think you are thinking about the wrong charachter. Isn't demoux in the 17th shard organization? I think you are talking about Spook. It's been some time since I read mistborn and the way of kings so I could be the one mistaken here
My theory regarding Ba-Ado-Mishram. She is the spren of Roshar, the one who represents the whole planet, who was unmade by odium. This could explain why a lot of bad things started to happen once she was captured inside a gemstone and as to why she seems to be on a league of her own. The other unmade could be other 'lesser' god-spren unmade by Odium, either willingly (like probably Mishram was) or unwillingly.
1:09:00 About the spanish translation of the previews. It does in fact say "Ese podría ser un comecuernos" which translates to "that MAN could be a horneater". The previews are published by Nova (the spanish publisher for the stormlight archive) and are translated by Manu Viciano, the guy who is already translating the entire book so we can have a silmultaneous release, so without anything being definitive I would say we can be pretty confident the horneater is a "he".
@@maeperegrine6327 I don't think so. I could have missed something but it felt like they were being purposefully vague, only refering to it as "Szeth's spren", "the highspren" or something along those lines.
Even though I know that Kaladin is not in the spiritual realm, I still think that he will become Honor's vessel. The more I think about why this was my first instinct the more it makes sense. Ishar, wants to take up the power, but I have a feeling that Kaladin's influence on Ishar will leave a great impression and instead lead Kaladin to being the vessel. The number 1 reason being the fact that Kaladin has always acted with honorable intent and Syl is his balance. Especially her being the last ancient spren of Honor it makes sense that they would keep their bond, and possibly be a more powerful, or balance of Honor's power
I wonder if the fact that in Emberdark, Frost is raising an orphaned dragon whose parents were his friends is connected to the dragon lawyer from day 2
I think it’s said in day 2, but I’m not 100% sure. When shallan is sneaking into the ghost bloods hideout when they talk to felt he says to them he ‘isn’t part of your group’ but just helping them for some reason. Which I find interesting, why help the ghostbloods if he clearly doesn’t like them. I could be misinterpreting what he said though or misremembering.
@carl11547 Curious where you read that Axindweth was shorter than Rosharans. I looked about in ROW as well as the Coppermind and couldn't find the reference. I ask because I wonder how much shorter she would be since she is Terris.
I hope that Adolin doesn't stop by to say goodbye and apologize to Wit/Dalinar before he goes, then gets even more frustrated when "Dalinar" doesn't give him the response that he wants
I feel like Ishar taking all the burdens is via Bondsmith Connection shenaniganary, though I wonder about his astral projection... I wonder if he's using the other Honourblades, since the Shin have them, and he could easily have bonded them all to basically give him every Surge without the limits of the Oaths, and become even MORE dangerous, and probably capable of razing the planet by himself Plus, he'd have his own justification for taking the blades and powers, as recompense for taking their burdens for so long
Random question that has a low chance of being plot relevant, is/was tanavast a dragon? We know that cultivation is one with the name “Koravelium Avast”, and they both have the same name suffix of Avast, I was curious if that was a dragon naming convention.
In looking for the answer to your question (which I'm pretty sure is real, because Ian has been irritated about this for a while), I found an even more relevant one for you saying Tanavast was not a dragon: wob.coppermind.net/events/522/#e16277

What's been retconned? Not being antagonistic, just want to know because I haven't noticed anything like that. If there are parables about truth and honesty that could cover them to get to 40
