- Cedar Fair's Mike Fehnel - the Vice President & General Manager of Carowinds, Rob Decker - the Senior Vice President in charge of Planning & Design and Chief Operating Officer Richard Zimmerman cut the ribbon at the opening of Fury 325. The park's new record-setting B&M (Bolliger & Mabillard) giga coaster is part of a $50 million Cedar Fair investment in the park that includes a new entrance plaza and other attractions.
Carowinds is located on the North/South Carolina border near Charlotte, NC.

I got stuck on the fury 325 on Saturday 9th 2015! And so much fun then other rides! On Saturday 9th 2015 was my first time riding! It was so fun!!!

Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland and this are like twins, except for that Fury 325 is 325 Ft tall. I'm jealous of Fury 325 for stealing Leviathan's place. :( But, hopefully Canada's Wonderland has something up their sleeve soon! I'm a Coasterforce fan reporting from Ontario, Canada!

I have flown all the way from Cincinnati ohio 3 times to ride it. It is perfection.

Yup, considering they're two different types of coasters. Intimidator is a Hyper coaster and Fury is a Giga coaster. Canada's Wonderland, Cedar Point, Carowinds, they all have both types and that was some of the best park decisions.
DialgaMarine3 No. Intimidator is a Hyper coaster (a coaster that is 200-299 feet tall). A Giga coaster is 300-399 feet tall. Intimadator is only 232 feet tall. But they are somewhat similar.
