Your son is so lucky to be able to eat your cooking!
+azumanga Actually, I think I am the lucky one. I know so many great cooks whose families are picky eaters and refuse to eat their wonderful creations. That can be very discouraging. One of the reasons I learned to cook well was that my family was always willing to try anything (well, almost anything ;)
I absolutely adore watching your videos. I feel like I'm not just learning how to cook a particular dish or develop a technique but also the traditional background of those dishes and how to modernize them to a more contemporary taste and aesthetic.
+Matthew Campbell Thanks so much Matthew! Happy cooking and baking to you :)
She's the best 💖💖
What a cute little food critic! I'm definitely going to try and make this this weekend!!
Yes! Finally a recipe for the sauce that is mistake proof! Most recipes says to make a carmel first and then add the juice and I was wondering if I could do it this way....thank you so much! Love how thorough are your videos
I love her voice!
So do I!
I remember making this years ago, time flies! gonna try it again 👍
Helen, you have the best coking tutorials on RUclips.
+Ozepyon09 Still learning how to do it right. It's a fun challenge. Thank you so much for your support. I couldn't do it without my amazing viewers.
Made this several times (along with your crêpes recipe) and LOVE IT! I just tried using very finely diced KUMQUATS in lieu of orange zest today and I can't recommend it enough! Kumquats taste more like oranges than oranges, and the bright, tart orange flavor they add to the sauce is far more complex than the variable flavor of zest. TRY IT if you can find them!
Helen I've been binge watching your channel, you're amazing!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
love this channel and your personality!
Made it again today, its really a treat :)
I made these tonight and they absolutely blew my mind! Thank you so much
I've been watching some of your videos lately and I've found so delightful to watch and learn with you 👏🏻 👏🏻 You remind me of Julia Child 😊 Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
So cute (and tasty!). I'm going to make this today!
"I assume you want to keep your eyebrows", "besides, what normal person has 2 different zesters in their house" :D :O :D! hillarious! I am so coming back to this channel!
Helen, Thanks again for your amazing recipies! I did it on chrismas for my family, and we were stunned! Amazing and delicous. I have do make it ever weekend I guess :D Greetings from Germany
Helen, it is always good, to have such excellent food experts in the house, isn't it!
My favorite!! Too scared to flambeed the sauce. Helen, you are my idol in cooking. I learned so much form you. I finally baked the best dinner rolls after trying and trying until no more bread flour in the grocery store, LOL!!
You look like my sister Christianne so much!! She passed away in 2014 in Toulouse, France. Oh! how I miss her. Your video is the best! I will make this for my husband as soon as my surgery be over! We have lived in France and crepes suzettes are my husband favorite! Thank you Helen. :-)
Hope your surgery goes well. Nothing like crepes to help you recover :)
Thank you so much!
Really useful and practical video, with great info that elevates my knowledge of cooking. Thank you!

Both you and your son are adorable. I hope to make this someday!
+Shy Galadriel Thank you!
Me „Ain’t nobody got money for oranges, juice it is“. Helen: „no juice“ :(
This was great, and you were so funny!

I love the food critic, all he could do was to keep eating and nod his head yes. After that endorsement I'm making these.
Love you Helen! Will make it today
I would love to try this
Nice video! Thank you Helen!
Can we make flambeed orange sauce WITHOUT grand marnier? Will it work?
it needs some liquor if you want to light it, but it doesn't have to be grand marnier. you can skip the liquor and the lighting part and it will still be a good sauce, but not nearly as complex as with liquor.
@@helenrennie ok, thank you so much
Its awesome, will cook at home
Greetings from Panoramas Croatia!
🤞💕🌹😍👍
Thank you so much for watching and commenting!!
Wish you all the best always, best regards,🎄🎅,,
Aww he was so cute! That's so sweet. Really lovely video. I'm sure they taste great, I love crepes, but do they taste soggy?
Soggy? that's a matter of opinion. Try this dish you find out for yourself.
Helen Rennie Ah yeah that's probably true, I will have to! I just imagine they soak up a lot of the sauce, but I'm sure it's very moist and good :0
I see what you mean -- crepes aren't very porous (they are not like bread). The have the texture similar to pasta. So although this dish is very saucy, it doesn't seem soggy to me.
Awesome thanks.
how about pineapple juice? would it work?
yes, that would be delicious.
slatka si lepo...pozz
Holy shit after 4 years there are 2 bots in the replies who are trying to scam you lmao wtf is this
We are going to learn how to set things on fire 😂
When I go to Boston I think I will take one of your classes.
great! would love to cook with you.
nice
This is my favourite. Can i keep some leftover? And can i warm them?
yes, they warm up ok, but turn a bit too soft after sitting in the sauce.
Hi there. That was great!! Thx for the recipe. I'm really looking forward to making this..:) Thx again
1/4 cup (2 oz) grand marnier. It's an orange liquor. Click below the video on "show more" link and you'll get the recipe with all the ingredient amounts.
Thank you very much. :)
i wonder, could i flambe the whole thing when the pancakes are all in the pan?
i mean, just poor alcohol over them and flame them?
These were EXCELLENT! ❤️
QUESTION: When does the "zest from 1 navel orange" indicated in the recipe go into the orange sauce? Did you forget to mention it? It's certainly not the peel ribbons garnish you mention at the end. I'm guessing it goes in with the sugar and vanilla to allow for extracting maximum oil and flavor?
the zest and juice are combined right in the beginning. Here is the part of the video that says "let's dump the juice and zest into a skillet" ruclips.net/video/pD5BVl8ndjk/видео.html
Well, I have both types of zesters at home, too. 🤗
wow nice :)
Amazing video and recipe Helen, bravo! I'm so curious about your accent?
LMAO! If *ever* I be in the Boston area, I ask you to marry me.
Greets from Holland.
I am already married, but I'd be happy to give you a cooking class :)
😂
you can be calm we serve it in the restaurant that i work...cafe nordoy-tlv
Thank you(
The correct way is to cook the crape in the sauce
i'm muslim , and i can't use the grand marnier what is the replacement?
+turpo zaky Just skip grand marnier and flambee part. It's a great sauce even without it.
thanks helen
Isn't the peel where all the pesticides are deposited?
+Kr En If you are worried, buy organic oranges.
Is measure american or english cup?
American
@@helenrennie Thank you!
Vous êtes française?
I still have my eyebrows
lol, made my with some Tang, its all I had on hand
Gangsta ass move 👀
What accent do you have??
I'm not a normal person then!
For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee. -King David
Funny, farmers plant the trees, help the trees grow, pickers collect the oranges, truckers haul the oranges, warehouses store and distribute the oranges, grocery stores sell the oranges, we go, buy them, with money we worked hard to get and bring home the oranges, we then make food with them.
Then after all that, thank god for "his" provision ... that's silly.

David & Goliath: A Biblical Battle | Full Documentary | Biography
story
Please enjoy the Bible's entire story about the philistine foreskin proof of the kills David & his men had made. I've never met a David that I didn't like, & @ age 69 there have been many. See their timeline 10:20
David Marries Michal
1 Samuel 18:24And the servants told Saul what David had said. 25Saul replied, “Say to David, ‘The king desires no other dowry but a hundred Philistine foreskins as revenge on his enemies.’” But Saul intended to cause David’s death at the hands of the Philistines. 26When the servants reported these terms to David, he was pleased to become the king’s son-in-law. Before the wedding day arrived, 27David and his men went out and killed two hundred Philistines. He brought their foreskins and presented them as payment in full to become the king’s son-in-law. Then Saul gave his daughter Michal to David in marriage.
