With the title I am referring to a regular event with an EX-8. I have cleared Grani's event before this but that's one of the unique events that has less than 8 EX stages.

@@awesomesauce980 Basically yeah, she is only super powerful at E1+ with being balanced at E0 but that doesn't change my feelings towards her existence so I will still refuse to use her.
It's kind of strange for how this event's difficulty is because the blight mechanic itself is really punishing because of how high the damage can be and applying healing pressure but at the same time none of the enemies have that high of stats so either arts or Virtuosa can easily deal with the elites. I would say this is one of those events that if you know how to manage the blight it isn't that hard but it can be pretty hard if you don't. Over all I feel it's a result of me getting better at E0 Lvl 1.
Not to belittle Lowy's insane skills in this game, but I think it's fair to say that if event is very easy in general, this always will be reflected on all niches. Including e0lvl1.
Surprised you found a use for Quartz when this event is borderline Crusher-UNfriendly (spam mobs and blight dealing continuous damage) I wonder tho, what compels you to use Quartz when you have Wind Chimes/Hoederer? Wind Chimes has slightly higher stats than Quartz and a *slightly* higher S1 boost than her, while Hoederer has a crit and self heal. And from the looks of things, E0 L1 needs all the stats it can get
Had the same question, but on the other hand why would you use Hoederer if cheaper Quartz is already enough? That would mean that we're likely never gonna see Quartz again. Why it's crusher unfriendly btw, every event has both mobs spam and hard-hitting elites, and blighted water doesn't deal more damage to crusher's since it's arts, not physical. I mean, this event might have more trash hordes than others, but it doesn't mean that there's no place at all for that subclass.
The short answer is: because I wanted to. After all I think it's fitting that Quartz and Gavial Alt after carrying me so hard early on were able to be used in this clear. But for a more thorough answer to your question, the blight deals a burst of arts dmg on it's first hit and deals so much damage over all that crushers high hp pool worked better for those few trash mobs I needed them for. You are right though that at the point where I am at now there is no reason to use Quartz over Hoederer or Wind Chimes unless I felt like it so this might be the last clear I use Quartz on at least in a serious clear.

Im curious if you've even bothered with base management on this account. Do you have a tremendous stockpile of pointless resources haha
I have to manage the base to make rocks into orundum and to make LMD for that so unfortunately yes. I do have a stockpile of stuff yeah lol.

That will be interesting to see. Much of what makes Wisadel broken is her S3. I'd definitely be curious to see how her S1 fares.
I will avoid using Walter unless I am forced to out of spite. Plus she is only good vs 150 def or less enemies at E0 Lvl 1 anyways.
