    I honestly feel like the humans would immediately occupy Lorderan, they always wanted it back and now they can just freely enter without resistance.

    i'd imagine that if the forsaken did join the alliance, the blood elves would as well, since the forsaken were always their biggest allies. This would give them a lot more room at the negotiating table, and would let them secure the entire eastern kingdoms (more or less). I imagine there would be an eventual betrayal by the humans, after the plaguelands were purged of the scourge.

      Well, as Nixxiom speaks in the story he presents, this all took place before/during the events of the 3rd War where Arthas ran off to Northrend. So, the Forsaken and Blood Elves wouldn't have had the same relationship by that point as they have in the current day.

      Then we would have nice High elf kingdom. Khael'thas would be archmage of Kirin Tor and member of the Council of six. Anasterian would be still the king of High elves. Kel'Thuzad wouldn't be resurrected → many changes to story = no Naxx, no corrupted Ashbringer, Mograins would be alive, ... . Also no forsaken.
      Fire mages would need to find different artifact.

      They had just murdered Garithos and all his men in Lordaeron, he was a dick yes, but he did uphold his end of their bargain and actually let them go after the rec;aimed the Capital. Sulvie lost a golden opportyunity there. The moment the real Alliance would return in the area Garithos would be kicked due to his actions against the Elves and there would actually be area for a truce, a difficult one but a truce.

      LOL yeah. 'Moderate' Forsaken are just those that don't loudly support the idea of genociding/converting all humans. There are indeed many that really do want to seek some sort of co-existence, but they're overridden by those with grudges and they barely hold back the extremists - and of course (Wrathgate one of biggest examples) sometimes they don't hold them back. You can RP an overall peaceful Forsaken but there will always be the edge to you that jumps towards the vengeful acts and positions compared to all the other races (including even Orcs).

    You must have forgotten the part where Sylvanas betrayed and killed the Grand Marshal and all men of the New Alliance after the retaking of Capital City. Not a very friendly gesture towards the Alliance, I would argue.

    • @jordanread5829
      @jordanread5829 8 лет назад +9

      The Grand Marshal did tell her to fuck off, plus he did try and murder the survivors of her homeland (blood elves) as revenge for the horde killing his family during the second war, which he blamed the high elves for allowing it to happen. He tried by ordering Kael'thas and the blood elves to attack a major undead stronghold with "nothing but sticks and hash language" as Kael'thas describes. The reason for doing this was to find a reason to kill them via them committing treason why accepting aid from the naga, lead by Vashj.

    • @H25Invicta
      @H25Invicta 8 лет назад +6

      Jordan Read I don't think Sylvanas even knew about Sunstrider's connection to Garithos. As for telling them to fuck off, that was their agreement all along, and definitely not cause for killing. We've now seen multiple instances where Sylvanas pays no regard to her allies and blindly pursues her own desires. First she betrayed the Scourge, then the New Alliance, then the Horde ( plague usage ), and now she's chasing immortality rather than fully leading the Horde.

      Teldrassil burned because Sylvanas became warchief after Vol'jin died. Legion happened because of alternate Draenor's Gul'dan, which happened because of Warlords of Draenor, which happened because of Garrosh becoming warchief and Thrall stepping away. With just one bottle of poison, Magatha Grimtotem was unwittingly kingslayer and kingmaker of it all. Neat!

    The biggest flaw with this theory (other than the ˜years pass, nothing else happens˜) is that raising undead is a magical process. Sylvanas`s apothecaries never managed to attain that with science, they could only kill, thus half the reason she needs the Val`kyr so badly now. By destroying Stormwind without increasing her numbers Sylvanas would be vulnerable to basically everyone else, namely the Night Elves, the Horde, the Legion (since Burning Crusade is coming) and specially the Scourge.
    [Apart from that, I quite like these videos. I like theoryzing scenarios such as these myself. Thumbs up, Nixxiom]

    So, a thought i have had some time now, it's time for a story lads.
    So we all know that Blizz likes to keep their expansion: New Races->New Class->New Race->New Class etc.
    So the Expansion after Legion will be new races, now, we have the obvious pick for the Horde, which is Ogres, they are made and ready to be launched, after the Goblins took their spot in the last sec in Cataclysm. But as far as i know, then there's no obvious picks for the Alliance, So, a thought i had was, what would happen if one of the Horde races went Neutral? That would work GamePlay wice, with 6 Alli, 2 Neutral, 6 Horde. But who would go Neutral? My strongest guess, would be the Tauren, and right after the Goblins(If something happens). As many knows, the tauren tripe that's with the Horde had a blood dept with Thrall, which they stated in WoD that "Our Blood dept has been paid". with Thrall out on his happy elemental adventure or whatever, then i don't see anything that binds the Tauren to the Horde, it's stated that the Tauren as a whole, aren't happy with the way the Horde is handling war, and as we all know now, the Tauren is a peacefull race. The Tauran and Night Elfs already have several Druid Camps spread all over Azeroth. so they are already "kinda" neutral in a manner, and if we look at "how" they would join the Alliance, then we have to remember that it's Anduin that's the current King, if anyone remembers in Pandaria, then Anduin met the Taurens, unarmed. He would have been a golden hostage at that time, but they simply refused to take him as hostage for the fact that he was indeed unarmed, i'm pretty sure Anduin remembers that, incase the Taurens went neutral and some would want to join the Alliance. And as for the Goblins, they have always been kinda neutral, but i don't see them leaving with Sylvanas as Warchief, the Goblins comes with alot of fire power which i don't think Sylvanas will let go that easily.
    This was just a little thought of mine, nothing to take serious. It all depends on the new expansion really, perhabs the Alliance gets Naga or some shit, who knows. If you have any thoughts on the new Alliance race, or maybe even a better thought on the new Horde race feel free to say so.

  • @KildareGaming
    @KildareGaming 8 лет назад +22

    Good story telling and fan fiction however there are a few inconsistencies:
    1. The Alliance would never accept the forsaken in the first place due to their immoral practices. Not only would humans have none of it, but Night Elves and High elves as well.
    2. Even if there was an alliance between the 2 factions Ambassadors, diplomats and other ranks would be distributed between the 2 cities to prevent rebellion or betrayal or at least find out about it before it's too late.
    3. To my knowledge, The forsaken prior to WotlK could not forcefully "convert" undead to the forsaken. If the undead was not a slave to the scourge then the forsaken ambassadors gave the undead a choice, work for sylvanas or wander elsewhere (with no faction/allies).
    4. If there was an alliance, humans would have flooded to Lorderan anyway, many of the surviving citizens would be returned and it would be rebuilt as a human/undead kingdom, meaning that the forsaken would have human reinforcements and also being watched constantly to prevent betrayal.
    Non the less good story telling, still overall good, I'm sure you've done your research, in this story sylvanas seemed to act like her normal self so it didn't go too far away from its source material. Seemed very similar to how she acted in the novel War Crimes.
    Good Work.

The Night Elves' reaction which were part of the Alliance as well after the Third War? Onyxia's and Nefarian's plan? What about Lich King? Would still Varimathras betrayal occur? Afterall he had a big fault in this and now with the new plague at the tips of his claws and larger Forsaken numbers his betrayal would be more devastating, and without a hiding place which could've been the Horde, Sylvanas would probably die.

    Cool what if, good job. My insignificant opinions: the alliance would accept them, much in the way they accepted DKs but with some hesitance. They would kind of be like warlocks in stormwind, feared and not trusted but still allowed to go about their business. I don't think the dwarves would disregard them, as soon enough all alliance races would have DK's. Forsaken and the ebon blade would have a closer relationship, and once wotlk events started happening the alliance would realize what a powerful weapon their new allies would be against the lich king. However, after wrath, when Sylvanas does the whole "get valkyries" thing, the alliance would be much more stern on telling her to not make more undead. If she did, shed get the poop kicked out of her by the much more light-centric alliance. The horde didn't really know how to control the undead, but since the forsaken are mostly humans from lordaeron, they would be loyal to Sylvanas but even more so to Stormwind. Stormwind has SI7 and they would be spying on Sylvanas just to be safe, and eventually find out about Varimathras. It could go two ways from there, either Sylvanas agreeing to end him or saying she refuses as he is a powerful asset. If she agrees, it cements that she is loyal to the Alliance, if she refuses, she might get offed herself.

    I don't buy your premise that the Alliance would betray them. They did actually get undead joining them (Ebon Blade) and they comitted worse offensive acts than you described at first by resuming to raise fallen Alliance heroes as shown in recent lore. Still they are not rejected.

    And played right into the Dreadlord's clawed hands whom still holds loyalty to the Legion. With no unified Alliance by the time the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj opens there is no-one to aid the Horde in fighting back the swarms of C'thun sans the Night Elves alone as the rest of the Eastern Kingdoms would be bogged down by Sylvanas' forces and unable to unify. The armies of the Old God would overwhelm everything in their path, eventually burrowing down into the Undercity to devour the Banshee herself and her Kingdom of the Forsaken, along with the rest of the world.

    • @MrTrollaid
      @MrTrollaid 8 лет назад

      I assumed that in this version they did join the Alliance, but most of them are in Kalimdor anyway, so they shouldn't interfere much. The real question would rather be the Blood Elves. Assuming in this story Sylvanas' betrayal happens after the events of BC and she is still part of the Alliance when they start leaving Quel'Thalas, would her decision to join the Alliance influence theirs? After all, the main reason they joined the Horde was because, just like the Forsaken, they felt abandoned by the Alliance, but if they saw the Alliance accepted (in appearance) to cooperate and help the forsaken, they would probably be more inclined to trust and join them.
      And then? The Alliance would probably be a lot less hostile toward the blood elves than the undead, after all, they were former allies, and the Blood Elves would likely be quite accepting of the Forsaken since they are lead by Sylvanas, one of their heroes. So wouldn't they help bridge the gap between both factions? I think this story should have mentioned them.

    (I know 6 years late)
    I kinda disagree,
    The Alliance accepted Death Knights into there ranks and there seems to be very little actual tension there and mind you not every faction in The Church of the Light is fully against the Undead(Argent Crusade) so while yes there probably would be some who would hate it(Scarlet Crusade) you would also have many who supported the decision so while yes I think there would be some tension I actually think it would go better then you would think, also after the Forsaken prove themselves in battle this tension would be even lessoned.
    The Forsaken probably wouldn't even be called the Forsaken as they weren't Forsaken by the living they were Embraced here.
    With the Forsaken in the Alliance the Blood elves also join the Alliance this means the Alliance would have almost total control over the Eastern Kingdoms(this means things like Alterac Valley wouldn't exist because they would be under alliance control)
    Another factor I think you failed to consider is Sylvanas's sister Vereesa who we know Sylvanas is still attached to with them both being in the Alliance that means they likely meet up much sooner and start bonding I know this sounds crazy but we know this kinda almost happened in canon in Warcrime's(While yes Sylvanas had less then great plans for Vereesa you also have to remember this was POST the Alliance "Forsaking" the Forsaken them leaving them bitter to the living which is why they wouldn't accept a living ruler which is the only reason Sylvanas planed to do that)
    Vanilla & BC would mostly go the same except the Horde would be a weaker faction and most of wrath goes the same up until the Wrathgate this is a moment where I Could see the Forsaken & Alliance having heavily conflict however I could see someone like Jaina managing to smooth things out.
    Should things go well and Arthas is still defeated as normal here comes a major change Sylvanas would not kill herself(due to her having reconnected with Vereesa) resulting in her never meeting the Jailer and never getting the Valkyries.
    The Undead do not attack Gilneas(that was ordered by Garrosh) meaning Liam Greymane doesn't die meaning there is no bad blood between Sylvanas & Genn so Gilneas as a nation joins the Alliance after the Night Elves assist them with there Worgen problem.
    The Horde isn't doing well in there war against the Alliance they gained the Goblins as ally's but even still there outnumbered by the alliance pretty massively at this point.
    other then that Cata goes by about the same.
    Mop plays out mostly the same just with the Horde being massively overwhelmed by the Alliance.
    Theramore is never destroyed as Garrosh can't afford the troops to take the city even with a mana bomb on his side.
    Garrosh still likely does what he does with the whole old god heart thing but he is put down hard.
    WOD likely goes the same.
    Legion is where some stuff changes Vol'jin wouldn't be stabbed as the Jailer has no reason to manipulate this however Varian still dies here when the Horde call the retreat(Except it would be Vol'jin who called it not Sylvanas)
    Most of the events of Legion go similarly however Sylvanas isn't seeking the Valkyrie and doesn't make a deal with Helya.
    Also when Alleria returns during the Three Sisters comic it goes well and they get along actually with Vereesa there to mediate them.
    After Legion there would be 7ish years of piece(BFA & Shadowlands don't happen)
    Dragonflight probably still happens the exact same.
    So overall I just think things go either Better or at worse roughly the same.

      Naah. I think this video give a fair treatment to the character of Sylvanas. She is ambitious and ready to dirty her hands to increase her influence and protect her people, but she isn't a Lich King 2.0. It's all fan theory of course, but I think in this video's scenario, this Alliance could have lasted if the humans didn't reject their new ally. The two main cases of shifty behaviour b the Forsaken are the incident of Angrathar which was orchestrated by Varimathras and the Legion, not Sylvanas, and the invasion of Gilneas which was Sylvanas' doing but happened in reaction to the appearance of a new threat at her border. If the Forsaken had been part of the Alliance when the Worgen decided to join, they wouldn't have attacked them.

    • @girlgarde

      If Stormwind had laboured to be more tolerant of the Forsaken in this scenario, their Alliance would've worked and we'd have had the Forsaken in the Alliance. With the influence of Sylvanas in the Alliance, the Blood Elves would've been allowed back in the Alliance and with their combined might, this alternate Alliance would be able to push the Scourge out of the Eastern Kingdoms.
      I imagine that Stormwind and others would try to cure the Forsaken Undead and restore their Human state which would be cool.

    Sorry Nixxiom nut unlike you're other What if stories this one have plot holes all over it. The time you are talking about is when Varian returned. You completely left out Dalaran's mages and Wildhammers. Also if the Forsaken had rejoined the Alliance then so would the Elves. You left out the Skarlet's and the Night Elves. Also the possibility of Scourge attacking and the Alliance turning a blind eye is zero even with Katrana's influence. Lastly Stormeind is not the Alliance, just like the Worgens a summit would be made umong all the Alliance leaders to accept the Forsaken as allies. And finally while Sylvanas is a fierce Opponent, she is a terrible tactician, taking out the alliance through duplicity is a skill she lacks....

Doing the exact same thing twice( poisoned grain) without anyone realizing it requires duplicity and deception and Sylvanas is way to blunt for thus dance. I didn't say she is a bad general, although the Silvermoon fiasco is a little heavy. Arthas passes the first gate, she does not alert the city, Arthas passes the second gate, she does not alert the city, Arthas is right outside the city...Sylvanas decides to warn the city.....sigh.

    Also to note, I love these alternate history videos you're making Nixxiom. It's absolutely brilliant how you do it so damn well!
    Looking at this one, personally I feel it's probably best that the Forsaken joined the Horde instead. For our people (undeads) I think the Horde was a much more clear option and worked better in favor of the Forsaken for the long run. However the idea of Sylvanas bringing down Stormwind and the vast majority of the human kingdoms with the plague of undeath, is a nice one. I kind of wish that it had happened this way. There would be an immense Forsaken army that's for sure! One that would warrant an entire faction just as Undead, and that I think, would be very awesome!
    Nevertheless, this alternate history is something that really gets me thinking. It's so very interesting to ponder how differently things could've have gone had one or two decisions been made differently.

    Ok, I'm at 3:50 and I just can't stop laughing. You've got, like, ALL of the personalities wrong here. Bolivar Fordragon was the guy who supported the forsaken members of the Argent Dawn and Katrana Prestor was the bitch who killed the queen and started a classwar. On top of which, Sylvanis would NEVER beg. Scheme and manipulate the emotions of the alliance? Sure, but never beg. She was proud and pigheaded in life, she was proud and sociopathic in death, and sociopathic and psychopathic after her second death. None of those three personalities EVER begs.
    The reason the scourge never joined the alliance is simple. When given a chance to work with the alliance, she killed them. Repeatedly. First that douche Garithos, then the paladins of the silver hand, then their successors the scarlet crusade and Argent Dawn. Their constant resentment fueled aggression of those who live and worse, those who've been resurected drive them to constantly bite the alliance hand. The orcs and trolls who first created azeroths zombies had an idea how to deal with them beyond trying to decide whether to resurrect or smash.
    Moving on with the rest of your fantasy vid.
    5:20. More likely, given the paladins value honor and the rule of law above just about everything else, they'd grudgingly accept the undead and begin working on how to apply holy resurrection to the undead who normally are burned by the light (not that that stops undead priests from practicing it)
    6:50. roflmao. The string of murders would start much earlier than that, and it would have people rising as new members of the forsaken. Please remember, the undead even in their own quest text are sociopathic at best psychopathic at worst, and while claiming to research ways to return to life, keep researching better ways to kill the living.
    10:10. what had their alliance brought them? apparently resentment at their own laziness! Oh, wait, thats just like canon. rofl, sry.

    why would i ally myself with the person that killed me and turned me into a zombie ?
    I would still be the same person as before just dead so the racism against zombies would make me a double racist :D

    Ahahahhahhaaaa "Alliance accepted them as they are"
    That's a good one,humans may just be the single most xenophobic race in entire azeroth,especially back then. Seriously Garrosh was less racist at the peak of his madness.

      your logic is flawed in a huge way, being that the humans forged an alliance with, elves, dwarves, gnomes, and any other race that would help in their cause to save the eastern kingdom. The orcs only made allies with the tauren and forsaken out of need, not because they liked these 2 races. In the first 2 wars the orcs basically made the trolls and ogres their slaves, they were not equals to orcs in any way until the orcs were beaten and treated like shit after their lose to the alliance in the 2nd war. Also the humans did team up with the forsaken and the forsaken killed them, so no there would be no trust after that. The high elves made the mistake of turning to dark acts in order to regain their lands, and after what happened to them with the forsaken they were not taking any chances with the former high elves.

    • @dreuvasdevil9395
      @dreuvasdevil9395 6 лет назад

      What're you talking about? The orcs where good friends with the tauren and the trolls,and when did the forsaken betrayed the alliance soldies?

    • @dreuvasdevil9395
      @dreuvasdevil9395 6 лет назад

      And they didn't acctualy want to team up with the forsaken,but since the alliance was to racist to let them in their alliance the forsaken begged Thrall to join their Horde which in the end they did
      Edit:They needed a ally since the scourge around Lordaeron was to much and they coulden't handle them

      Because if he doesnt bang her regularly, she turns into a dragon and destroys half of Azeroth? But since she's so rough and demanding, he can only do it once every ten thousand years and spends the rest of the time recovering in the Emerald Wet Dream.

    Hey, hey Nixxiom. What if the night elves joined the Horde. Hear me out. Broxigar made a hell of a first impression with Tyrande during the war of the ancients, and after the events at the world tree, Nordrasil Tyrande totally could have made the decision to join the horde. What are your thoughts on that? Video maybe? =D or not what ever.

    It would be awesome if in-game you could have the option as a Forsaken to look like an undead human, dwarf, night elf, or gnome. Idk about night elves and gnomes but I know there were dwarves in lordaeron.

    Great "what if" story. You would think at some point someone wouldn't have cared whether their loved one was undead. I'm surprised Blizzard hasnt played upon this at all. Some kind of side quest that is a love story of someone alive and undead. Maybe there is one that I missed? How has this not been done yet?

    Well-told tale, but so sad. I did experience a disconnect between the Sylvanas portrayed in the early parts of the story and the Sylvanas I've come to know in BfA and days previous. Still, this tale is plausible. Saddens me though. Mine is like Anduin's heart. I want peace, peace between factions and among peoples. Peace is just so elusive.

    Yeah, of cource if undead will join the Alliance everything will go down to hell. Right. The story feels like its forcefuly talked in the way to bring everyting to a that end. It feel unnatural and hardly belived.
