Susukino Evening Stroll in Sapporo!

Sapporo is an amazing city of many beautiful parks, great scenery, fantastic places to eat and lots of history to explore.
And like any other major city it has its entertainment district. Susukino is such a district and it will be lively well into the wee hours of the night!

I'm trying to decide whether to visit Hokkaido in the winter or spring. I know that people go there in the summer to get away from the hear, but I'm not too bothered by heat. Now, of course, if i was living there long term I would go there in the summer. But I'm thinking if I go to Hokkaido in the spring or winter... Which one is better? Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks Chris and thanks for the view on my BSP Japan channel. The winters are harsh in Hokkaido and many of the northern prefectures including Niigata where we live. But in Japan they know how to navigate the seasons very well so any season in Hokkaido is fine. The snow festival in Sapporo is a must see. I haven’t been yet but I’m going to put together a trip to go for sure.
