I don't know why but I enjoy listening to this guy talk. Great stuff Mr Smelly, please have Gabe on again and please please please try and find out who is the perfumer of Creed's Original Vetiver, maybe Gabe knows. It is my second favourite Creed after GIT and I suspect it might be Bourdon(my favourite niche perfumer of all time).

I have an electronic copy of "The Ghost Perfumer" great book, Gabe is an interesting writer and I can see his new book is already available in Amazon but not yet available as an electronic copy so I will wait to buy it, I just stopped buying printed books, with my Kindle Fire I can keep all the books in one device and read them when I have time .... and yes Canada Post is still on strike... great interview Dan!

thanks really enjoy Gabe's take on Creed & Bourdon. agree that that the most egregious thing about Creed being flipped again is nothing of value was added to their catalogue in the interim. sure they released new scents but these pale in comparison to the 'classics'. Herault (who I follow quite closely) on the other hand is increasingly giving his best work to smaller niche brands who are happy to highlight his artistry. he's even cooked up a refreshed version of Aventus to an Asian brand, would love to hear Gabe's take on that!
