    What are you applying at 2.28 and again at 2.38? Im in the process of painting my muscular female figurine and im not getting that finish.

    • @Shwadee2423
      @Shwadee2423  2 года назад

      I'm actually applying a watered down acrylic paint in those clips but that's not what gives the final finish. Those are to give a wash that will show the layers of colour underneath. I used a clear gloss spray when all the painting was finished. Another option to get similar effect is painting on mod podge glue but I'm not sure it will be as glossy. Good luck on your project!

      @@Shwadee2423 Thanks for the tips.
      Mine is a beefy shield maiden with fair skin and not a bodybuilder with a spray tan so im not sure what im going for but i will try to make her a bit glossy.

      @Shwadee2423  3 года назад +2

      Yeah man it was a tough choice for the pose, I'm regretting not doing a lat spread or back double bicep lol but maybe I'll make another sculpt of him some day

    What do you add to polymer clay to soften it?

    • @Shwadee2423
      @Shwadee2423  3 года назад

      I use regular rubbing alcohol but it doesn't soften it it just helps with smoothing the surface of any fingerprints or seam lines
