The reason they don't care about the hostage is because they never lose anything. When the criminals lose, they lose money (fine and item), time (jail). When the cops lose, they lose nothing or a little bit a money. I think It should be like irl. If a cop fucked up a situation and the hostage get killed because of his action, he get demoted, maybe suspended or even fired. I don't think demoting would be good in rp but suspending is good. If a hostage died they should be suspended of playing cops for a few day.

It isn't glitched, it isn't a exploit, it is litrally just a good angle, go on youtube and search up how a good angle and how corners look and "work" from first person perspective.
