We use the Lazy Susan when we play boardgames in my home. That way everyone can see the scrabble board the right way when it’s their turn. And all the pieces stay put (unless you spin it too fast) ;)
I just don’t understand how this could get so many thumbs down. I’m a forever messy guy but trying to get better at organising so your videos have been very helpful. I can’t wait to go to Ikea and buy the shoe organisers and the extension rod. You have such great space-saving ideas! I also love how you focus on rentals. So many tools/devices/contraptions are only suitable if you own a home and your videos seem to be inclusive to the many people who have to rent. Looking forward to saving-space and having my spaces looking neater. Such a great series of videos!
Wine boxes from the liquor store have the interior cross section in them to protect wine bottles from hitting each other.....they are also the BEST for organizing flip flops and they are free! I spray painted mine and turned them on their side, stacked two and use various cubbies in the boxes to hold tennis shoes as well. Super organized and free. Just thought I’d add that but that’s the only thing out of your vid I could add to, everything else is just fab thinking! Brilliant ideas!
That is a great idea for the cat food. I would use a glad freezer bag inside the container just in case an insect gets in. Dollar Tree has the clear hanging shoe vinyl rack so you can see your bathing suits easier. It only cost a dollar. You can also get bathroom shelf with the suction cup as a hanging hard plastic two tier. You can hang it over the shower door or rod. Also cost a dollar. For additional spect the suction cups shelves are nice as well.
Heck yeah, going to Ikea and then to buy potatoes 🥔 !!! 🤩 , also going to try and use the wooden plate divider for pans under the cabinets.. Holy 🐮 !!! Thnx Kristen, 👍’s Up x 3 .
Also pouring oil into another container gets it in touch with air. That makes the oil not safe to eat after a little while. Oil should never be decanted. Always buy small bottles of oil and use them up. Once opened the oil should be used up.
I'm sorry to burst your bubble, most people in Spain and Italy, which are the biggest producers of olive oil in the world, use clear bottles like that one to pour oil from a bigger container. (Many of us are lucky to enjoy real extra virgin olive oil, which is thick and dark and a little bitter on your throat. It's delicious!! Often times, we buy it directly from local traditional olive oil mills). In any case, we just make sure to keep the bottle away from direct sunlight, maybe in the cupboard. Also, we use olive oil every day, in almost every meal, so we go really fast through such a small bottle, and there is no chance for our oil to go bad. I think we know better. Cheers! :)
Amalia you both are right. It depends on the quality of your olive oil. Most of the olive oil you can buy at stores is mixed with other seed oil (the "extra virgine" whatever print is often a scam, sadly), what makes it spoil easily, therefore the dark bottle is necessary. If you have high quality olive oil , a light bottle in a dark pantry will be totally fine :)

I just went to Homegoods today (it’s my birthday) and got a lazy Susan for under my sink in the kitchen because of your video. I would have never thought to use that. Thank you so much!
Such great tips! We are moving from the US to Germany in Feb. and the easiest way to furnish our new home is with IKEA so I’m on the hunt for IKEA ideas and this video didn’t disappoint! Thank you!
Back of door shoe organisers are great for all the kids small plush toys. Saved so much space and my daughter can see them all and clean up easily too 😊
I've been really sad lately and was going to watch another video but decided "nah, I need Kristen's energy right now" You are such a light, sweet girl! Grateful for you!
This was a very nice make over. It was not necessary to install the doors so that they would be proud of the piece, as long as the doors were flush with the front, the mouldings would be able to be attached and you would have fewer visible gaps. This was an inspired makeover, I am just telling you this in case you should ever want to do this again.

Hi!! I'm Italian and I'm sorry, but that olive oil doesn't look good: it should be dark yellow, like liquid gold. Plus, direct light isn't good for oils, so you should keep it in a dark bottle or inside a cabin. Hope it was useful ❤
Anna Trevy yes! There is a reason most olive oils come in dark or green bottles. Even cheap olive oil can go bad much faster when exposed to light, and cheap isn’t really cheap anymore.
Susanne Kramer olive oil purchased this way isn't actual olive oil. The olive oil I purchase is expensive and tastes so good that I can actually top my vanilla ice cream with a full tablespoon of my Lemon EVOO! (ABSOLUTELY SCRUMPTIOUS). . If you can do this, you've got authentic olive oil!

I LOVE the cat food/treat storage idea! My fiancé and I are moving into a new place soon and have been trying to find a jar that would look good on the counter, but I love this idea 10x more. Thank you 💗
Best shoe organizer: the billy bookcase if your shoe size is 9 or under. It fits over 80-90 pairs of shoes, you can add glass or full doors, leave it in the hallway or in the closet or in the room. Much better than the shoe organizer as you see everything, very neat!
I bought a couple of those big blue bags that have zippers ($3.99 ea) and use them when I go to the laundromat. I also have the metal magazine holders hung with cup hooks on the inside of my bathroom vanity to hold things like hair dryer and flat iron.
The magazine holder idea was EXCELLENT! I use similar ones from Dollar Tree to organize my foil, wax paper and ziplock bags. Olive oil should always be stored in a dark glass container. Sunlight changes the structure of the oil causing it to go bad.

First rule of organising: declutter.
She said "I don't know how many I have anymore" about her swimwear.. that's disturbing and a good reason to declutter
Plus, she has "shoes all over the front door"
Instead of putting the ones you don't need in the closet, why not... Get rid of them?

My house used to look at clean and organized like this and then I had 4 kids and just watch your best planned idea stuff up............I own 2 broken trash containers for example ( one for normal waste and one for recycles) and my daughter decided it would be fun to stop the pop up lid from ever going down. She did it on the day we bought it so we have had a broken rubbish bin every since and I have to lay a cleaning brush on top of it from stopping it popping up all the time.......Welcome to motherhood.
Absolutely loved the ideas and how you used the items! I have watched many Ikea videos but your made the most of simple items! Thank you for sharing! 🙂
