    I feel you on the fading by sections I find it that doing guidelines around the whole head then detailing last gives me a more consistent fade and working section by section take longer and harder to match the sides , I blend with all detachables and I’ve gotten faster and I wanna do the detachable challenge

    • @TheBarberPhil
      @TheBarberPhil  3 года назад

      It was definitely a challenge for me. I have since keep my detachables out on the station though, so that’s good.

    good vid. You kinda lost me on the 1/2 guard vs the zero guard?

    • @TheBarberPhil
      @TheBarberPhil  3 года назад +1

      There is an Andis .5 guard and I thought that it was equivalent to the Wahl premium .5 guard. It’s not, It’s a little longer, but there is an Andis 0 guard which is the equivalent.

      @@TheBarberPhil if I were to use the half attack on a burst would I use the 2 open to debulk them the 1 1/2 half open then lever open right under that and then the half half open to take that line out in between the open lever and 1 1/2 half open ??

    • @TheBarberPhil
      @TheBarberPhil  3 года назад +1

      @@TheJonV1 you could use a 2 open or a 3 closed. Sounds like you got it!

    does the master blade just bolt on bro? or did you have to re drill it ?

    • @TheBarberPhil
      @TheBarberPhil  3 года назад +1

      You need a bracket that has the 2 narrow holes drilled to fit andis blades. The Gamma Alpha comes with the bracket pre drilled and ready to modify. You can also check out Philthy Mods, or drill the holes yourself into any Wahl bracket you have.

    I always feel like fading all the way around makes for a faster easier fade

    • @TheBarberPhil
      @TheBarberPhil  9 месяцев назад

      That’s my personal preference. If I do sides, back, side separately in a video, it’s simply for recording purposes.

      That’s the best part about recording your cuts, you see things that you don’t notice in the moment. I definitely could have lightened that up.
