How I've learnt everything online (19 y/o, running software agency)

I've learnt basically everything I know around software online, by myself, for free. That's now what I do for a living. I've learnt so much other stuff online, and know plenty of friends who have as well, and this is just the system that I used which helped me.

I truly can't believe there are still people willing to spend a lot of money on courses. Just as you mentioned, almost everything can be self-taught for free online. I've learned 90% of my skills through self-study, and I believe that as long as you can find good resources, simply watching RUclips is enough to become an expert.

1)Watch a basic tutorial
2) Envision a project(small projects),be specific about the details
3) build it,use different tutorials,piece it together (a tutorial for each specific feature, not the whole project)
4) rinse and repeat
5) connect with people (important)
