That dust is terrible. Glad the 9's appear to be working for you this year so far. Lot's of money tied up in those things.
Mike I am happy to you are happy. I always enjoy your videos.
But Mike, how happy are you. When your happy & you know it, chap your hands.
Claas has a feeder house blower that sucks all that dust and blows it down and back.
So do the X9s, at least the ones made in the last 2 years.
We need some little nerd to come up with a VR head set to see through the dust. They will get rich Quick! Glad it’s going well.
So glad for your yield and the combining going better - you deserve it! And for 203,000 subscribers, that's wonderful!
Good to see you are not plugging up. I’m watching you combine while I am combining lol.
Now that's dedication right there. I hope you have a bountiful harvest & everything goes smoothly for you. 💵💵💵
Mike can we get a machinery tour of your equipment and the entire farm.
Running in heavy dust with lights like that really makes a guy tired fast. It's like a hypno fog haha!
Good afternoon
Just realized how bad the lights are on the x9 compared to the case
Case usually blows seals in the daytime so they need good lights to work through the night. Hehe 😂
Hi Mike, you sound fairly knackered by the end of this video so I think you made a good call knocking off earlier than usual. We all realise you have that buzzy bee 🐝 personality & you find it hard to switch off when so many plans are swishing around your brain, but mate, you have a precious little family now that occasionally need 100% of Dad's time, even during harvest. So, although everything you do is for them to have a better life please don't forget that children don't care about money, power or status, they value the attention of the alpha male father & to see Mum happy, laughing & getting a hug from Dad. You're a good man make, we like you & want you to enjoy your health, love & life. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day.😉😎
Glad you’re enjoying it
Well Mik, after those dry years you have to be happy with the yield.😉
Sometimes an early night is required to avoid burnout!!
Wish we could had seen a big harvest video down south!
Salut Mike magnifique vidéo et les moissonneuse batteuse sont bien équipés et les grands champ sont énormes et bien intéressante 😂😮😅😊
You should start a q&a I have questions like do you plan to eventually only farm in the north ,does the neighbours in the north hate you for essentially rapid growth in there neighborhood
Extra fine cut choppers are the issue from the digging I been doing trying to figure out this plugged rotor problem. Sounds like the machines without the extra fine cut choppers don’t plug from the experts in my dealership.
Hey Mike , i got a question;hows ur housingproject goin?
Yeah,I’ve wondered too. Mike is a guy that will make a video about something but then he’ll never follow up on it! I think he just has too much going on.
They live in the combine cab..
That’s no 40 bpa
He must have sorted something cos all these guys are hired n living somewhere
Get a Claas combine they have dust extractor on trunking so you don't get that
R u seriously going to get rid of the X9 if u keep plugging again ??? I would like to see what the case AF 11 could do !! Case should have brought u one to run against the Deere.
Did I hear Mike say he has 3 x9combines now at the north farm . Getting it done quicky hopefully. Great videos
2 - X9 1 - 790
I would have liked to see a Case combine running in those conditions.
Yes, yes, yes!
A CaseIH AF11 would be amazing to watch & from what I've seen so far I believe it will munch through those lentils like a hot knife through butter. 😎
Hello!
Do you ever use crop lifters on the grain head?
How was the rainfall amounts on your farms today? There was a heavy rainfall warning on the south farm on the date of the release of this video. (9/18/2024)
How big is that block of lentals it looks like 2 miles long.....Great Vid 👍👍👍👍
are you missing the 8250 yet ?
Oh man😊
Yep Mike your not getting younger you beginning to feel the age. That is a good thing though because the alternative is not so good.😉
Hey Mike, I got a question, ground has been selling around me in Iowa for $16,500 an acre 3 weeks ago, $16,700 last year... is it that high in Canada?
My uncle sold his land this year for just over 100k euro a hectare in The Netherlands. That’s about 50k us dollar per acre. Land prices can go up a lot still.
The other corner of the state, some is bringing $30,000 an acre
@@autobootpiloot near berlin theres ground being sold at 50k € per hectare, fluctuates drastingly according to soil fertility etc.
@@jimkavalier2831depends on what part of Canada. If it’s suitable for greenhouses I’ve heard it going as high as $100,000 an acre or maybe a bit more
@@clearskiesranch1362greenhouse is not farming
Mike there may to many kanola in those lentils I ques.🤔😉
Mike I got a question! Going forward do you think a producer is better off to grow small red lentils or small green lentils for their lentil acres next year? On the south farm I'm talking as I realize greens could be a challenge up north
Hi mike, what do you use for weed control in your lentils? They look fairly clean.
Mike i have a question, how many ackers do you farm up north and will there come a time when the north operation gets so big that you only farm up morth ?
I was wondering the same thing today. Seems to have grown the north farm operation quite quick!
I'm genuinely not a fussy guy but your spelling is atrocious. With today's modern technology, spelling, grammar & even translation is very easy. I guess this is an insight into our education systems & from what I see they're failing to meet the most basic level. 🤷
@@leddieliveI thinks he’s an older guy not real familiar with technology… go easy on him.
Ah, fair play. To be honest I'd just been on another channel where the comment section was a warzone & I wasn't feeling too good about my fellow man. So, I apologise, I was heavy handed & took my mood out on here & that was wrong & unfair of me, sorry. 🤗
All of the acres
👋😊
Where does all the dust come from? Is it just dried soil dust that was captured on the crop, or is the dust come from cutting the crop? I hope you have a good in cabin filter and a good supply of them. Surly, breathing in just a little bit is bad for your lungs, especially knowing it was sprayed with chemicals.
Lentils are a dusty crop when dry
👍
I hear the new Case combine can go 11 mph in 25 bushel wheat.
Impressive the head can handle that speed. 50ft head.
Nothing impressive about running a machine at 1% of its capacity
Hey mike, can you tell us some more about the ins and outs of money on your farm
Yes Mike please let us have your credit card details & bank details including CVV numbers, purely for research purposes obviously. 😉
It comes in and out there you go welcome to farming.
Do you have a house at the south and a house at the north?
How many acres you got up north?
When did you switch to John Deere last time I saw your videos you was running fend ideal combines?
Year 3 for the 2 X9s . He said in 3 years they rarely ever had all of the Fendts running at the same time. Service truck there almost daily.
@@lynwessel2471 got it , thanks 👍
Hey Mike roughly how many acres you guys running at the north farm ?
How much money do you make a year? You don’t ask a farmer how much land they farm..
Mike did you see the Welkers running a af11 50ft header 10mph in wheat??? Thats insane !!!
How do you cut at that speed.
If it's any type of crop you would plug the knife or run over the crop
@@westmanguy01They always have really poor crops so there’s not much getting cut at any one time. Mike cutting at 4 or 5mph is actually putting more thru than the welkers at 10 mph. I think they just have really poor soil as I see Mike grow some really nice crops down south but the welkers can’t seem to.
What is a lentil?. I’ve never eaten one I don’t think.
Dust Bowl conditions.
Not even close😂
Hey mike what are you gonna buy this year with all your money you had poor crops last few years but it didn't slow your spending on equipment but now with a fair crop your gonna really be spending 😂😂
Not how it works
Have to spend it. Or tax man gets alot of it. Might as well have good equipment.
