A couple addons, most of the healers (smokey and Hewynn for sure) base their heals off of attack power, so weapon is fairly useful for supports. Now when Hewynn heal is 2.8-3 x Attack (on skill one as an example), or Smokey's aroma is ticking for 20-30% of Attack, is 2 healing prowess of 150 attack better? I don't know the math behind it enough to say. But I've seen many people say upgrade support weapons first.
The other is just to watch caps. Like the copper resource only forges up to level 60, so if you're starting to get level 70 gear often, probably a good idea to spend all your copper resources. You still have to weigh the gold cost into the decision though, so don't just spend them if it's not on units you will use.

@@DangerGrey Oh wait, sorry, I misremembered. Heals ARE still based on attack, but the weapon first part was wrong (at least for the creators I was thinking of). So maybe the math doesn't work out.

Maybe start with the fact that you pay the same amount of materials whether you upgrade 5 or 10 or more… hence you actually don’t want to upgrade unless you can’t progress and only pieces that are lowest to the current max level.
I wish I knew about this sooner. Now I've completed everything in S1, but still need 364 mythic bars to max everything...

What are you buying from Ironhoof Forge, if anything? seems like a huge gold sink but tempting for instant upgrades.
Buying the odd item here or there if it is leveled up appropriately to be a large free upgrade forge-free and again - belongs to a class I am *using* - so basically nothing yet. But eventually it will maybe have one or two items on it that are worth buying mmmm🍓 just hardly any, your instincts are correct
Off topic but, is gacha/pulling the only way to get S rank characters to mythic? Or are there other ways?

Yeah, you can buy a handful of S tier from the Arena coins. Hewynn. Cassadee. Rowan. Bryon. Cecia. Are the relevant 5. Arguably Granny (I guess) but the rest are garbage mostly rn. Igor niche. Worst +10 of my life hopefully. What I wouldn’t give for those essence back 😭
