Very sad, honestly, because Rayman had the potential to be a franchise that could go on for as long as Mario or Sonic.
What Ubsoft were thinking when they chose to make the series about these ugly rabbit-things, I'll never know.

I feel this was the right call for the story to finally make a closure on the old Rayman/Rabbid rivalry after so long.

WHY DOES THE ENDING MAKE ME SO EMOTIONAL, It’s just Rayman and the Rabbids finally making amends but I think it’s just the way Rayman reacts is what’s getting to me
Like he’s now realizing that the Rabbids have matured and they’re not all these mischievous troublemakers that he’s run into in the past, he really wasn’t expecting that heartfelt hug

I like how this boss fight is exactly the same as the first one, you need to dash the cells to destroy the spotlight to damage him. Also, the VA did an incredible job

The Phantom of the Bwahpera must be the best of all bosses. He’s a psychic for knowing everything despite not actually meeting the roasted people’s friends. And he has valid points that would make it much better
Man, he was really pulling his punches when it came to his songs about Mario. This song just was so close to home.
I mean Phantom Roasted Mario in The Prequel so why not here

Okay, Rayman seems a bit like an OP Donkey Kong to me. Also, the first fight gives again good Mario and Rabbids Kingdom battle flashbacks, and the final part was good from Phantom.

Rayman was gonna be a slighty rescind dk, with an ability that draws in opponents, a very powerful nuke attack, constantly being on the movie with his grapples, and a little gimmick that makes Rayman iconic for the current game he's in

The Rabbids really have matured. They went from being chaotic enemies of Rayman, to monsters that kept destroying things and trying to take over the world, the just annoying little creatures and now theirs Rabbids that decided they no longer want to be the bad guys or cause problems and said something Rayman never expected to hear “we’re going to be heroes”

Theoretically you can beat phase 1 in 2 or 3 turns. Team jumping to the lights as quickly as possible to beat the other phases in record time is paramount.
The Duplicate Spark is a god send. So op. destroyed almost all the lights in one turn for each phase.

I just realized that the phantom and rabbid Kong got their dlc and mega dragon bowser is kinda a character in the sequel and yet the ice golem is still stuck in the fridge💀
Upside, I hate the Phantom so much, but the downside, every time he throws punchlines at Mario & now at Rayman, he hits the mark and he's not wrong.
Now that the Rabbids have stolen his place as Ubisoft's mascot, he's a shadow of his former self.
The fact that the Phantom is the antagonist of this DLC is a very good idea and a way to remind players AND Ubisoft that whatever happens, Rayman will always be present in our hearts.
