Trust me, we are.
I'm a drummer and i can confirm that we have a LOT of fun playing. Its my favorate instrument to play, and i've tried piano and i'm learning bass currently, but I think drums are the true instrument for me.
we totally are but tbh its kind of hard to show that since you dont have the same freedom of movement as guitar and nowhere near as much a singer

We need to have fun to make the crowd happy because there is a huge difference between playing while enjoying and not enjoying. Trust me, listeners can feel the difference.

I'd love to make music/play in a band that jams anywhere near as amazing as the RHCP. Chad Smith is my all time favorite drummer and while I still don't have all of the incredible groove and feel he has, my play style is similar to his in that I like to play stuff that jams but it's not about trying to play as many notes as possible or being the most technical player.
I hear ya man, I try and channel that as much as possible when I drum. I agree, Chad Smith is an definitely amazing drummer

Finally man! I am a young drummer I've been drumming for about 2 1/2 -3 years and i learned this song on the drums of course much simpler without the amazing fills and it was one of the first ones i learned and now that you played it, it sounds even awesomer :)

This videos shows: acrylic kits are for show, not for sound. It’s lifeless and flat sounding. But looks killer.
I have played an acrylic DW Design series kit 2 times and it felt like hitting “good sounding” plastic buckets.
Nothing can compete with wooden drum kits!
