- Almost everyone that watched the first Josh Taylor vs Jack Catterall fight made Catterall the winner, regardless of the two bizarre score-cards that favourite the Scot. However, it doesn't necessarily follow that the overdue rematch will pan out the same way. Here are my thoughts on Saturday's grudge match. Leave yours in the comments section below.

The only direction this fight is going in my opinion is Catterall destroying and stopping Taylor in less than 8 rounds simply because he learned his lesson not to wait for that W to be decided by the judges.

Unfortunately I can't get interested in Catterall vs Taylor 2. It should have happened last year in my opinion. Taylor lost to Teofimo Lopez and Catterall has been underwhelming since.
I'll watch it but I'm finding it difficult to get fired up for it.

Happy (belated) birthday Joe! Wish I'd have known I'm not that far from there. Would have loved to meet you. (You'd have a worse hangover today though. 😂).
The first fight was a terrible robbery and I genuinely got really upset for Jack (I'm a bit of a sentimental old git that has a bugbear about honesty), but this should have happened over a year ago. Life's a bitch sometimes.
Good work mate. Made for great listening.! I waited for the weigh in for this one, as I didn't think Josh would make 140. I'm going for Catterall by decision, but as you say, he may go for it stop him. As Lopez didn't stop Taylor & Catterall didn't stop little Linares, I'm sticking with a decision. Whatever, I'm looking forward to it. Bless 👊

Josh Taylor is fighting the Ricky Hatton catch 22 - much of his prowess comes from being huge in the ring and easily the bigger man on the night, but eventually you're killing yourself to squeeze the weight and it becomes counter-productive.
If he moves up to 147 then he'll no longer have that 'bigger man on the night' advantage, hence the paradox that faces him.
He can't really make 140 but he can't not make it either...
Taylor lost most belts fcking up the rematch anyway and the last one Lopez beat off him. Karma gets you eventually.
Can’t believe we are all of a sudden talking about Josh Taylor like this. From a potential p4p talent and best British fighter to somebody being beaten up by jack catterall . No offence to catterall.
If Josh goes back to his older fights and works the body he will take him out I think .
Being Scottish I am going for Taylor lol. I will wait to decided until I see the Weigh-in and see how Taylor looks. I agree Taylor does not look Healthy. I sense something is wrong with Taylor, I do not think it is drink. I thought Taylor just edged the first fight, just my opinion. As to Catterall I just cannot warm to him, he never seems to be able to bring that something different that makes an elite fighter if you know what I mean.
Think this fight will be interesting this will be a much closer fight than the first one. He got robbed but that aside this is going be a lot more closer I make it a 50/50 fight I give my prediction last minute 😂
