St. Trina’s endgame seems to be entering the eternal sleep of death, which I guess she deems to be the ultimate state of bliss. So having a death themed guardian seems appropriate!

I mean, it's bugged and applies the buff of your right hand weapon atop of dealing good madness by itself. So if you take Eclipse Shotel into your right hand, buff it with the L2 and then use the torch's L2...
It is, in fact, powerful. Not even a meme, Nanaya's Torch can be scary even without glitch abuse.
unironically its very strong. honestly any build can just get the minimum stats for it and use it to quickly proc madness to setup for insane damage combos

I think the lizard great sword is worth looking into soonish. Not only does it have the claymore 2H R2 but that R2 also shoots out a crossbow style bolt, so you could do something pretty interesting with range punishes and if you land counter hits I'm sure it'll really hurt

12:40 - you can tell when people don't read the patch notes. Dual wielding bleed infused twinblades does LESS bleed build-up than a single twinblade. A single twinblade running R2 is the way to go if that's your thing.
Black steel twinblade running R2 is nutty with status buildup.
Not everybody cares that much about tryharding, maybe they just wanted to use dual twinblades moveset
@@Chaoszwaihander3434I think it’s more likely that they saw a RUclips clip titled “OP bleed build” and stuck with it. The seppuku buff is a giveaway. He’s not just enjoying the move-set, he’s trying to proc bleed as fast as possible

Gotta love when I see someone trashing a weapon like this "its just a short range axe with a worse wild strikes", only to see chase later that day make it shine like gold, awesome video as always.
Many FS games have a cleaver-type weapon that enemies or you can use a special attack where the blade is held horizontally so that the entire edge of the weapon can be slammed towards the ground. This seems like a weapon built entirely around that mechanic.

Have you seen the invasions in the seamless coop mod? The connections are so much better and invaders get full heals and great rune use. There's no anti-cheat, but there is a block button for any degenerate that dares taint.🤭

The lizard greatsword has the Claymore R2 but it also fires out a little tongue! Ideal for roll catching.

ash of war also has added benefit of free chiropractor treatment which keeps player limber

Obviously the DLC weapons will and should receive priority, but it'd be interesting to see you check out bastard's stars in some capacity since flails got the speed boost. Always been a fun invasion weapon for me

Hey Chase, recently Seamless Coop got updated to include invasions, and i took that opportunity to try some PvP, its so fun going into PvP with all ive learned from watching your videos! I got a Banished Knights Greatsword with chilling mist and it works wonders, i understand why you love the weapon so much, thanks for getting me into PvP!
Attempting the dlc at ng+1 was so brutal. I’m stuck on 3 bosses, this guy being one of them

He was glowing yellow because he has his lantern turned on lol, and his armour kinda blended well with it. Actually kind of a cool strat to protect the host.
You should try the Smithscript Shield. When you wield a weapon with Royal Knight's Resolve in your right hand and the mentioned shield in your left, when activating RSS, it somehow gets applied on that shield as well. And guess what: RKR on the shield lasts as long as you don't hit with your weapon. Combined with the Discus Hurl Ash of War, it's insanely cursed and completely broken.
I works with basically every buff applied to main hand but I found that this is the most unfair one. Well, apart from Ecplise Shotel

@@yujin_sumeragi The more players use that messed up stuff the sooner Fromsoft will patch it. Leave it unknown and you’ll end up having broken stuff like Serpent Hunter invisible one shot which is this a thing.

That'd be like telling people to use the fires deadly sin deathblight bug in their build, sure it's been patched out for ages but you still suggested it
Smithscript weapons get crazy intelligence and faith scaling (magic/flame art/sacred). For some reason those infusions scale both the physical and elemental damage.
For reference, a +25 magic backhand blade at 80 int gets 671 damage, and a +25 magic smithscript cirque at 80 int gets 834 damage.
Their throwing attacks are also buffed with the smithing talisman.
Have you considered cutting some of these fights down to use as shorts content? I would love to be able to create a collection of some of my favorite individual fights

Ngl when I found this boss and its weapon, I didn’t expect that it was a great axe lol. It seemed way more like curved greatsword but as someone who loves greataxes and the boss itself…this weapon is a treat
You gotta give the deathknights greataxe a shot. Great damage, great movement, and a super versatile ashe of war. You can blinkbolt into a really powerful nuke by casting it a second time, or you can cancel it into a light or a heavy attack to get 3 different timings off 1 attack.
The blinkbolt portion also gives s. So when someone is locks themselves into casting an ash of war or spell you can dash through it and then follow up with your own big hit.

Chase I know Nanaya's Torch has been commented on all of your videos and I finally experienced why! The ash of war will AoE proc madness SO fast it's crazy then you can follow up with anything you want
Hey Chase I really enjoyed your elden ring videos. I recommend briar gauntlets for your armor set. They can sometimes stagger enemies when you dodge their attack. It may even knock them off the air during a jump attack.
