The way shriek is shown is like the other side of a coin to ori, shreik refused to let go of her past trauma, rejecting oris forgivness, whilst ori let go of his life with those he cared about, one refused to let go, and the other let go of everything.
Oh buddy, I learned about his work from Ori. Only found out later he did Ark. In this we are different. As for thinking he's underappreciated, we are the same.
This is truly one of your best mixes. I haven’t had this many goosebumps, been in absolute awe of the power of ‘Shriek and Ori’, and felt so emotional during the final moments. 11/10
LETS GOOOO this is one of my final bosses ever thanks to Gareth Coker's phenomenal work. And yup, in game version is actually slightly different to the soundtrack's(again) great mix!
tf Am I crying? xd Edit: I didn't know anything about this game at all, this was my second encounter with it... And this made me cry haha Not long after I bought it and that has been the best purchase I've ever done in my life
This was one of the best bossfights I ever had, especially because of the soundtrack. I beat it first try, the only boss in the game to do so. At first I almost got wiped quickly but caught my footing and just as 7:36 started I felt like I was taking charge of the fight, Shriek was going to lose, Ori was in unstoppable now
Sadly this game attacks are so BS that you get constantly hit despite your best effort to dodge, hence why i can't enjoy the game enough despite having good OST. Still nice mix :)
@@jurassicbread4279 the issues i had are mostly from bosses in general, like you die nearly equal amount against Sigrun but in a sense that most of those attacks are so " specific " pattern that you stick with 1 set of weapon + strategy 99% of the time, the spider, Shriek and major bosses in this game idk it feels so restrictive to play compare to Prototype 2 for example that is more freely on switching weapons and playstyle in-combat.
@@jurassicbread4279 that's why i rage quit, but you can see 39daph gameplay on the game aswell, she played decently well in Blind Forest but when she moves to Will of the Wisp the finale took her 3 hours to beat lol .... again specific patterns and restrictive movement made the fight more annoying than enjoyable, it feels like Hollow Knight copies but a failed final boss fight XD

Yea it does seem that way alot actually
I used to have an absolute obsession with Ori back in the day, so seeing this on my subscriber feed puts a smile on my face
… -Thanos, probably
GARETH COKER! A turn out of nowhere for us, but i love the composers work on ark and he goes so unappreciated!

Oh hell yes, this is a great surprise.
Awesome! Can we have Mora the Spider next?
We'll see… 🕷️
Even now, that final cutscene makes me sob
Hell yeah this is great
It just the another Circle Of Life....

@@chromatrescu interesting interesting. Well, at least we can all agree the music slaps XD
Shriek has an enormous hitbox. You have to give her a very wide berth when she dives, or her wingtips can still nick you.
