How can one believe a theory when parts of cells are non living, can't replicate, but supposedly made through millions of generations to be compatible with other parts of the cell? Can you reason someone out of what they weren't reasoned into? These so called missing links, they aren't even genetically testable, example a dna test can help someone find out who there parents are if they are adapted and need a transplant... but with evolution, missing links are found alive left & right, it's just a story... no different then media saying things w/o proof. He tries to look past cultural, social prejudices and bias, to argue from a more fundamental basis that is more objective. It is important for British society that people of religion and those of secular beliefs come together towards a better understand of society and the world around us. For that we must be sincere and honest in our discussion and be open and transparent about the facts as we understand them. Even if the facts negate ones own argument, all relevant facts must be the basis of ones argument. That is what will make it a sincer and honest attempt at arriving at the TRUTH. That is the best any human being can do. It is a wish I have for politicians! ...but at least we should try to be sincere. I think this host tries to that.

Actually, the term "God if the gaps" is true, because existence of God is the only thing to answer these questions and to fill these gaps, other wise Atheists have to fill these gaps and answer these questions in any way other than the existence of a creator.

I’m a biologist from Turkiye, and can confirm evolution was one of the major subjects in my education. The whole biological systematic is based on evolutionary progress of living things. Idk where he got this idea. Science in the history did not reject theology in general furthermore most of the scientists were very religious people yet Mendel himself was a monk. Evolution is one of the theories of how life on earth has urged. It is scientifically at the same value with “it came from space” if you take it..

How Many of the Beautiful Names and Perfect Attributes refer to Allah’s power to initiate, create, fashion creation… to “Programme” it to know What and how to do and live… whoever refuses that, is a sad case of a confused mind.
Ali makes a claim which he cannot support, that atheists or agnostics actually know there is a creator but deny it. He needs evidence. Evolution is a heavily supported concept, with new evidence causing it to evolve. It is supported by a variety of sciences including genetics. This contrasts with the Muslim claim that a god sent an angel to give revelations to a man for 23 years and no verse was amended, changed, lost or new verses added. Ali loses ALL credibility when he says evolution is trash. 🤦🏻

brother Ali, an honest question, say in scientific terms, we are kinda not even at a point where we could understand the creation of the atom to the point of certainty, or say chemistry... same way the creation of biology can have many hypothesis, but we haven't approached certainty. I do understand this establishment... but my question is, say on naturalistic stance, if we happen to develop some theory which is proved to explain physics and then later explains biology, the origin and stuff, whatever it might be... on the theological stance, can't we just ward it off by saying the same way a simple atom(not so simple btw) can be say arranged or created by explanation of laws of physics... similarly biological beings can also be created be created even if we have complete explanations of these stuff... Isn't it similar to saying that, look we have 100% proved that earth came from a blob of mass from the sun(ik that is not the case, but for arguments case), so there is no creator, ... we as theists can simply attribute the laws of physics to the creator directly... So, with that same logic we can also argue that the biological laws if they even happen to be discovered or so, doesn't effect theism at all...

How can one believe a theory when parts of cells are non living, can't replicate, but supposedly made through millions of generations to be compatible with other parts of the cell?

These so called missing links, they aren't even genetically testable, example a dna test can help someone find out who there parents are if they are adapted and need a transplant... but with evolution, missing links are found alive left & right, it's just a story... no different then media saying things w/o proof.

I’m a biologist from Turkiye, and can confirm evolution was one of the major subjects in my education. The whole biological systematic is based on evolutionary progress of living things. Idk where he got this idea. Science in the history did not reject theology in general furthermore most of the scientists were very religious people yet Mendel himself was a monk. Evolution is one of the theories of how life on earth has urged. It is scientifically at the same value with “it came from space” if you take it..

brother Ali, an honest question, say in scientific terms, we are kinda not even at a point where we could understand the creation of the atom to the point of certainty, or say chemistry... same way the creation of biology can have many hypothesis, but we haven't approached certainty. I do understand this establishment...
but my question is, say on naturalistic stance, if we happen to develop some theory which is proved to explain physics and then later explains biology, the origin and stuff, whatever it might be...
on the theological stance, can't we just ward it off by saying the same way a simple atom(not so simple btw) can be say arranged or created by explanation of laws of physics... similarly biological beings can also be created be created even if we have complete explanations of these stuff...
Isn't it similar to saying that, look we have 100% proved that earth came from a blob of mass from the sun(ik that is not the case, but for arguments case), so there is no creator, ... we as theists can simply attribute the laws of physics to the creator directly... So, with that same logic we can also argue that the biological laws if they even happen to be discovered or so, doesn't effect theism at all...
