This is just amazing news. I have been developing my proprietary method for 4 years now with lidar and photogrametry in archiad workflow. I ahev been totally alone in Portugal... so Happy that Archicad is moving this way !!! Excellent news
For the point clouds to create a mesh I actually use topography points on the points themselves, tehn I create a listing to excel, some adjustments and then import and build the mesh automatically from surveyor data and the mesh will automatically be built. Wonderfull would be some python programing to create the topography points automatically on the points of the point cloud
Thx for the great work.🙏🏼👍🏼 It would help very much if graphisoft will work on the performance on importing pointclouds. We use Pointcap for example to create floor plans and sections in the pointcloud to import them as drawings in Archicad. This helps performance wise, but it needs more steps to create the same outcome and needs additional software. Also a great tool is the BIMmTool but both are very expensive.
