This chef has an English easy understand.. he is entertained and Blinis recipe very good!
Greeting from Montreal! will make today blinis with your recipe...Thank you,
Súper, un millón de gracias por compartir tu receta....
These are fancy, I've only ever made extremely simple little blinis!
Muy buena la receta, felicitaciones.
Saludos desde Argentina.
Nice one, chef. Congrats.
big fan of your channel. greetings from México!
I will try it thank you!!!!
Bravo
Looks very tasty! Never seen yeast used in блины… I don’t think these would be recognizable as blini to most Russians - much too thick. More like a North American pancake. Maybe the Russian restaurant you learned it at changed their blini to be more appealing to North Americans since they aren’t used to savory pancakes. I’m sure those taste fantastic though!
Some make them thick like that, other make them more like crepes.
@@cookiegirl2cookie197 Never seen in my life them being so thick, blinis are basically crepes.
Im a chef and I love this recipe, thank you! Can you tell me the shelf life once the blinis are done?
Merci, Chef!
I've made them and they last 'bout three days on a ziplock bag in the fridge. Just reheat them in the oven or microwave before serving. They are de-li-cious.
Nice Chef
Τελεια. Μπραβο.
Can anyone explain to me how the dill does not overpower the subtle flavors of the salmon and rest of the ingredients? Its just when I do not omit the dill sprig, all I taste is dill.
❤️
can you share the link of the iron pan, thanks

It's a Scandinavian pancake pan.
For how long can i keep the blini batter in my refrigerator?
LEGGÄ 😋👌
Nice
Hi, Chef. Awesome recipe!. Would this work without Buckwheat flour?? Just using all-purpose?. I live in Norway and I´ve tried to find it but, so far no luck :-(
I promise, once I find the Buckwheat flour, to try it!!. Thank you so much for answering :-)
Just buy buckwheat and blend it in coffee grinder until you get flour 😊
Would appreciate measurements of the ingredients please!
Follow the link...
I love your accent, thank you

I’m Russian, and I’ve never seen these in my life.
cheff do you have recipe,,
These are NOT blini, blinnis are supposed to be thin, not more than 2 mm!
Its not blinis, its oladyis
Thank God , I'm a Indian , we have the best food in the world .
🤔😳
okay, I'm russian, and I can tell you, this is not Russian blini. I don;t know what this is, im sure it's tasty, but it has nothing to do with Russia. Nothing at all. Starting from the recepie (we don't use either buckwheat flour or yist) to the size (russian blini are made on a full size frying pan, so they are large in diametre. Weird you didn't learn that in that russian restaurant you worked at.
Originally blinis were made from buckwheat flour. What you're describing is a bastardized Ukrainian recipe.
Yes. Many (all) Russians have said this. Blini are akin to crepes.
Is there a Russian word for yeast pancakes?
Yes! дрожжевой блин
Could you please share a real russian recipe or ideas with caviar?

this is not blini, this is oladyi
im russian and im sorry but this is not blinis. The tradtitional ones are flat and a little see through. these ones are way smaller so I think your actually making oladyis
That's not blini...
What's wrong with the recipe?
Nothing wrong. 🙂
@@online-culinary-school i made your recipe yesterday for a Salmon Tartare and everyone loved it. Thank you.
There is nothing wrong with the recipe. It looks absolutely delicious. It's just not blini, looks more like oladji. It's like making a pasta dish and calling it lasagna. Nothing wrong with the dish, just not its name...
Activate the east
These aren't what I think of as blinis or "Russian Pancakes" at all. Honestly, watch a video made by a Russian instead.
