What a sweet heart. He seemed to go faster when the crowd cheered for him. I hope his mom won an award for being so great to take the time to teach him and give everyone a chuckle. He should get an award to for "Being So Darn Cute & Adorable".
I wonder if I’m the only English mastiff owner who loves watching videos with this wonderful breed. Slow and steady wins the race. The love and devotion you get from these giant babies is worth putting up with the buckets of drool they leave all over your home.
I had an English Bullmastiff that no one wanted so I took her in. She was the most loving creature on earth. She lived out her life with my pack. I love them.
He did a great job!! He is a heavy weight doing an agility test. It's not so much speed but his endurance and strength to make all those jumps and climbs.
@@silverpurkat your comment brought me back here. I never actually watched the video to the very end but the audience and the handler even comment on the A-frame. “I *told* them it was going to wobble.”
American agility equipment is just shit it’s so unsafe!! It’s noisy and just not well made. They need to invest in Galican equipment which is safe, has shock absorbing coating and is a lot less noisy!!
Oof- that aframe. 😥 But wow - that mastiff! What a champ! I love how enthusiastic the crowd was and how much it boyed him up! He really seemed to love that! Clearly he has an amazing owner.
What a wonderful dog! I know he'd probably rather have been drooling and napping but some activity is good for him. Still, I love Mastiff's as they are such loving and sweet dogs. :)
That was amazing❣️ I have a dog about that size, and seeing him get in that second tunnel was a little mind boggling! And those jumps! For such a heavy dog that’s no small feat
Thank you so much for sharing! Zeus is awesome! He is everything life should be and you are a study in patience! I would love to see him in person. Can you please post more of Zeus?
I was witness to a big Mastiff defending his owner. They don't display their real speed until it's needed. The man we took to the hospital, had tried to assault the owner on a walk. BAAAD MISTAKE!
Border collie: Hahaha! Look at this fat clumsy big... *pack of hungry coyotes appear approaching the herd* Border collie: Uhm. Mr. mastiff sir! I absolutely appreciate your talents. Please pay attention here!
I have one… No way ever, never..EVER! Would he do this.. Mastiff motto? I do what I want. Human trainers? You don’t dictate with a Mastiff. You negotiate 😂😂😂. Well done!
I think this Bullmastiff has some Usain Bolt genes in him. My Bullmastiff has some (alot) Sloth genes . Absolutely brilliant though. Well done to Zeus and owner.
1:00 that obstacle should have been skipped, that was really dangerous that dog is not built for obstacle that steep, his weight is also a factor in this instance if he fell he would have sustained major injuries, possible internal bleeding even. Other than that i like how he takes his time doing this "Ok lady I'll do this but on my terms".... too funny:P
Agreed! I have had 2 mastiffs in the past, who both tore their ACL, whichbis a known risk for this giant breed. That steep apparatus should be totally removed for large breeds!!!
jody024 well it is a part of any course so she had to she would have gotten disqualified if she didn't do it but she shouldn't be doing agility with him anyway because of that obstacle I mean agility shows because at home you can build your own course and wouldn't have to,do that a frame
jody024 there is nothing wrong with a Mastif or any other large breed doing the A-frame. There was a problem with that a frame and it was not anchored correctly. An a frame should never move like that when a dog gets on it. I have seen giant dogs take an a frame and they have not moved. The fault does not lie with the handler in this.
"Life is a marathon, not a sprint."

For a mastiff, that WAS warp speed! 😍
From what I've read about Zeus was that this was his last show he was going to retire afterwards. He was like 8yrs old.
What a sweet heart. He seemed to go faster when the crowd cheered for him. I hope his mom won an award for being so great to take the time to teach him and give everyone a chuckle. He should get an award to for "Being So Darn Cute & Adorable".

My family has had Mastiffs since 1980 (I was 12). I just got my own Mastiff 3 yrs ago. I do not do agility, but I do show him in confirmation.
When you’ve surpassed the weight limit on the equipment at the gym.
He did a great job!! He is a heavy weight doing an agility test. It's not so much speed but his endurance and strength to make all those jumps and climbs.
The A-frame thing is scary unstable. Definitely not stable enough for a dog his size.
It certainly made me cringe a little for the dog watching them approach the see saw after....
I think he was beyond the weight capacity
@@silverpurkat your comment brought me back here. I never actually watched the video to the very end but the audience and the handler even comment on the A-frame. “I *told* them it was going to wobble.”
Yeah, you’re right. Scared me a bit.
American agility equipment is just shit it’s so unsafe!! It’s noisy and just not well made. They need to invest in Galican equipment which is safe, has shock absorbing coating and is a lot less noisy!!

My heart skipped a beat when he went down the a grand. I thought it was gonna fall
It's a shame Zeus has to contend with the wobbly a frame. That could really rob him of his confidence.
What a wonderful dog! I know he'd probably rather have been drooling and napping but some activity is good for him. Still, I love Mastiff's as they are such loving and sweet dogs. :)
They are so casual and lolloping in their movement but when they run at full tilt it is both beautiful and terrifying at the same time! haha
😂
I watched it on 2 times playback speed, Zeus was killing it
"Slow and steady wins the race"- Zeus probably
His tail at the end! So happy that he had pleased his mum!
What a beautiful boy💕
I love my Mastiff but he would take a nap between each obstacle lol. Awesome dogs.
What a good boy! I'm so proud of him! That a frame was scary for a second, but he overcame it!
I think she worked harder he did!😂
Zeus seems to have a very kind Mom!
If only i take that line in OTHER way..its perfect!
I thought that too!!😆😂
I thought she was going to flop down with exhaustion on that chair at the end instead of picking up Zeus’s lead!!😄😁
Me, after I skipped the gym for 3 years
That was amazing❣️ I have a dog about that size, and seeing him get in that second tunnel was a little mind boggling! And those jumps! For such a heavy dog that’s no small feat
The dog is like “I’m coming mom what’s the hurry?” ❤️
And he´s so happy (as he should be). Bravo, Zeus!
It’s like watching a tank driving through the course. Slow, but steady.
Such rickety equipment, low and restricted and unable to carry a mastiff's weight. This dog is a SUPERHERO.
How can you guys even follow the dog? It's like a blur...
“I ain’t as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I ever was!” -Toby Kieth
Love those big dogs...Any pupper that doesn't live in a purse, is a friend of mine.
Zeus is a Greek God, he will take his time.
“Hey, it’s not all about speed, more about precision.” Zeus
The real MVP is that walk bridge for being strong enough to support him! 😅
been a mastiff for 3 years
all we want is a hug in the end
Thank you so much for sharing! Zeus is awesome! He is everything life should be and you are a study in patience! I would love to see him in person. Can you please post more of Zeus?
You put food out there, you will be astounded how fast that dog can move. Absolutely love watching him.
😂😂
The goodest boy
Seems the fur baby is just walking with mom, zero competition in their mind!
Did my Holman say “hurry?” You kidding me.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This dog is seriously my spirit animal. I'll do it. But I won't do it fast. 🤣🤣🤣🐶🐕
Thanks for the smile you brought to my face!
I do agility with spaniels and THAT was a beautiful CLEAN run. Great job, Team Zeus!!
That was awesome! Such a well trained pup! You should seriously be proud of your accomplishment.
I have two of these. Love how that incline almost fell over when he walked up it
For a dog that big he's better than most dogs.
Not sure who worked harder on that course - Zeus OR the Handler. Believe the handler did - Zeus just walked through it magnificently. 😎
That was awesome. I can't get my big lazy boy to even jump in the truck.
He’s gonna need a 2 hr. Nap after this😂😂😂
Mastiffs are slow but they have high endurance
I think its the owner who will need a nap.. She looked like she was going to pass out!
She is the kind of person that puts a square peg in a round hole.
How nice to see an owner doing this to interact with their dog. Those really fast dogs look they’d be hard to live with
I've just discovered this. It makes me happy...I've been cheering like mad for him!!!
Molto bello!!!!! Il Mastiff. Sia come aspetto estetico e soprattutto per il carattere molto ubbidiente strasuper tranquillo e buono.
I was witness to a big Mastiff defending his owner.
They don't display their real speed until it's needed.

BAAAD MISTAKE!
Border collie: Hahaha! Look at this fat clumsy big...

Border collie: Uhm. Mr. mastiff sir! I absolutely appreciate your talents. Please pay attention here!
They're gonna need a zamboni for the doggo-slobbo!
2:10 some hearty pats for a big dog, very satisfied with it
What a Very Good Boy! ❤
Super impressive. How adorable!💕
Mastiffs aren’t the type of dogs for speed unless they are protecting you
Herrlich, wie gemütlich er durch den parcour läuft 🤣
*"Paulie didn't move fast, but that's only because Paulie knew he didn't have to move for anyone."*
Good fellows, great film, wonderfully cast & directed
As a English Mastiff owner I applaud you and Zeus.
The way Zeus paused after the A-frame and glared back at it!😅
He's got no need to run away from anything! Why bother? 🤣
There is no joy in that for the dog. No excitement, No happiness.
Brilliant performance!
he gives the A-frame a side look on the way back lol
That was awesome 👏 love that pup ❤
What a great boy!
Zeus is a legend of the interwebs.
Atta boy Zeus. You're just not going to rush a mastiff.
FANTASTIC!
What a great doggo.
Hahaha,he is beautiful,so relaxed, easy,with no hurry!👏😃👍
"I go back to bed... wake me when coyotes get here...zzz..."
That felt like twenty minutes🤣🤣🤣
He actually broke out in a trot a few times!! Bravo!!
Zeus, not the fastest time on course, but definitely fastest time into our hearts!
Admirable. I love him.
I thought my dog was clever... the day she sat down and said... you do this shit
Agility classes are divided into two groups, border collies and all other dogs.
Zeus: "I'm starbing Mama, when do we eat?"......
What a very good boy he is !!!🩷🩷🩷🩷
He’s so chilled 😂. I watched one of the tiny dogs do it immediately before and they’re just manic compared to him!
Zeus has one speed. Go.
What an excellent boy!
I have one… No way ever, never..EVER! Would he do this.. Mastiff motto? I do what I want. Human trainers? You don’t dictate with a Mastiff. You negotiate 😂😂😂. Well done!
Very very good Zeus well done.
What a good boy! 🐕
Not sure if this is a good idea for his joints
Great job Zeus!

Psyco the Super pup I would gladly DQ my dog then. Not worth the risk imho.
jody024 I would have not been there in the first place
jody024 there is nothing wrong with a Mastif or any other large breed doing the A-frame. There was a problem with that a frame and it was not anchored correctly. My dog going into the tunnel and lays down every time.
This made me miss my big ol Bruceter boy
That is not a MASTIFF DOG, that is a MASSIVE DOG.
When you manager says they will pay you next week instead
Paulie might've moved slow, but it was only because Paulie didn't have to move for anybody. Goodfellas
I love this sooooooooo much!!
Not gonna lie, I think I can do it faster. But, I wouldn't look as adorable.
I love mastiffs. Going to have one , one day ❤love Zeus
Yes baby yes love him or her just wonderful
After the A-frame, he seemed to stop like…am I done yet?
