i just got this tablet few days ago and it runs great..gaming wise theres no lag from what i can see, but i only play modern combat 4, minecraft pocket edition and console emulation like psp, ps1 and so on....it can be easily rooted with a simple zip file you flash in the built in recovery the tablet has and install supersu from playstore after..converted supersu to a system app then did a full factory restore and root stays..video playback in my opinion is great same with audio...its a great tablet for the price and for those on a low budget.
Thank you for the reply! That's a great idea ;) I actually might get the yellow one and use the blue cover just for the fun of it. So how are you liking it so far after having it for few days? Is it good for internet browsing and lite games or should I get something better? Mind that I know nothing about tablets. Btw my husband watches all your videos, even those on XDA ;)
I had a tablet that looked just like this by Blu Products where the screen didn't feel like glass. Is that the case here or does it feel like a normal tablet/phone screen?
Back on sale again at am for 39... What's the verdict on this tablet... Specifically the low res screen and real available ram and flash storage. How bad is the screen res and colors?
How are the viewing angles? Last time I got a device for 100 bucks they where horrible. Any slight tilt and the colors on the screen basically became inverted.
I may get this for my dad since its for sale at biglot for 30$ next week. My dad has never touched a computer or an ipad in his life, but maybe it would be a good intro for him to get into using youtube, google and other stuff on the internet for music.
I have an ematic tablet and the box to it said it had 8GB but then, when I went to download a game that was 92MB, the tablet said that their is no available space for this game so, I went to settings and it said that the tablet had only 4GB total storage
The specs on the box are overblown. It has 1gb of storage mapped to root /, and 4gb of storage mapped to /sdcard, for a total of 5gb (not 8). If you insert an actual sd card (up to 32gb), it is mapped to /extsd You want to move as many apps as possible to the 4gb partion using Apps2sd. That is how you use this tablet. The space on the 1gb root partition is prescious and fills up fast, so use App2sd and System Uninstall to free up as much bloat off this partition (Google Chrome and Google+ are particularly bad offender) The A31 has very good video decoding and 3d rendering, but its webpage rendering is abysmal. You can mitigate that quite a bit by installing and using the Puffin webbrowser, which is 3x faster than any other browser out there including chrome.
The main purpose of rooting is to modify the build prop and internal settings of the Android system also themeing without bloated apps it can make your device much faster if you have the proper kernel and like a custom rom for your specific device that's why sometime it's hard to root u known devices as a posed to known devices. Rooting is for geeks and developers if your happy with your device leave it as is sometimes you can mess up your device if you don't know how to root or if you install an app that corrupts your system there are plenty of tutorials on how to root get a old android phone and practice on it if you really want to learn
I wonder if it would make a good dedicated Google Music device.
How does the speaker sound with music?
What storage card capacity/class can it hold?
Can't wait to see the review! Thanks Jordan

***** i bought it, it was incredibly slow/laggy. I brought it back and paid 20-30$ more for a Kindle fire which works great!
How well does it do for reading comics on? Is the screen decent enough that you can read the text on apps like Comixology?
can u show how it plays minecraft cuz my son loves that game and this would b great for him

But I paid $60 for this tablet
Maybe I buy this. Because it's so cheap.
I love cheap electronics!
I'm wondering how this does with kids. My 3 year old is in love with nexus 7 and I cringe every time he drops it, despite the case.
***** cool thanks
