@@ajrein4226 I’m a student so nothing really stopped for me. I went home but I still had online classes. I kept myself busy instead of just sitting around doing nothing 🤣 I’m from South Africa so maybe it was busy COVID hit us a bit later.
It's because you feel like you haven't even seen 2020 as everything is ok one minute and then next the whole world had just stopped its been a very hard and dark year but at least strictly is back to put the sparkle back in into Saturday nights
They always give Janette and Alijaz such beautiful places to dance in! 💞

That beginning was so beautifully filmed!! Some really nice shots! This also just made me really happy, I'm glad they managed to get Strictly on air this year.
I'm so thrilled its back. And I love the social distancing techniques that they have put in place to keep the show safe. And yes, I realise that with this show, it won't be immune from Covid and there is still a possibility that people may contract the disease. However I genuinely hope that Strictly will be back with a bang and that this will be a great series.

STRICTLY IS BACK!! Yes, it feels a tad sad this year, the whole atmosphere is a bit empty and a bit strange... BUT nevertheless it was a wonderful lunch show. There is no show like strictly to add some light, glitz and magic into these uneasy days. It started as a lovely contemporary dance so airy, unbelievably soft and touching, and then it turned into some spicy Cha Cha Cha and Samba. Those prose never cease to amaze me. There professionalism is beyond words. What a magnificent number to kick off the series, with this powerful song by Stevie Wonder, "As". Let me wish us all a fantastic and magical series, with lots of jaw-dropping performances!

@@user-uf3ed7fu1h Most likely not if previous years have gone by. It will be up to the BBC to decide. They have to be careful, as this is a BBC licence fee funded show, they can't show everything to international audiences.

He's busy in the U.S. filming Dancing With The Stars, the American version of the show. He must be grateful because normally he films both shows and spends almost 20 hours a week in the air. He says it's ten weeks of jet lag and drives him mad. But he's gonna make some appearances from his home in Los Angeles.

The singers destroyed the song. The song had no energy. The song had so much energy. This was flat as bad lemonade.
Just like this years GBBO and BGT, Strictly has gone all Woke, and now has died a sudden death in my house.
I do wish Karen would grow her hair a bit longer. The very short style is really severe for her.
Very boring show. I like strictly but my god that was boring. Claudia wearing sparkly pyjamas what was that all about.
The reduced studio audience numbers brought a lack of response to the dances, jokes etc which caused the show to feel flat. I suggest they should have either a virtual audience join in along with the reduced studio audience, or have other audience watch the show next door on a cinema screen. Then you could get more reaction and energy.

@@luigy39 Not necessarily. In a lot of competing same sex couples the lead changes (often within the dance itself). She is dancing as a woman, with a woman. She may dance the male variation of the choreography, or the female variation. Or both. I am excited to see their performances.
