This is a fascinating - and long overdue - kit. That said, it would have been better if they gave you standard decals, maybe with the option to put the inscription, "Maj. M. Mason," above the large number. (I wonder why they give you an "8" instead of the "3" as seen in most photos of the prototype . . . ?) As a sidebar, I think the satellite on the base is supposed to be the Soviet Luna 2; the first spacecraft to reach the surface of the Moon on September 13, 1959. This is a nice touch, but in reality, the probe did not survive impact, and was intentionally crashed to make a large dust cloud that could be seen by observatories on Earth. 70th like.
A Diorama of the Moon Suit, with a forced perspective flyover of an '99 Eagle or MoonBus would be cool! Nice update!
