Here’s a question for Twitter Tuesday. Please bear with me it’s a long one. Yesterday Josh Pate discussed the Wes Goodwin hire by Dabo Swinney back in 2021. He talked about how hiring within can be good and can also be bad for multiple reasons. Do you think maybe an outside hire for OC and bumping Halzle back down to QB’s might be a good move? No one is coming to Tennessee to teach Josh Huepel how to run an offense however maybe a fresh mind helping with play calling can bring back the lost creativity? Or is that we as fans don’t understand the true complexity of scheme and just think there’s no creativity? Sorry for the long winded question, would love to get your opinion on this.
Boo is gonna steal the show in 25. Kids got all around ability like Hunter. Has the attitude to match is the problem. I think Huep would take issue with his ride getting stolen.
I said it all year this year. Boo Carter has IT. He has the attitude every football player should have and plays with an edge everybody should play with. He’s gonna succeed no matter where you put him. Offense, defense, and special teams. He will thrive the next 2 years. Watch and see. In a big way.
@@Alex-qw7sy well obviously Boo isn't currently on the level of Hunter and nobody in national media is predicting him to be. But we are making risky predictions based on what we see smoldering underneath. There's nothing wrong with that. If we were picking 5 players on our team to be Heisman candidates, sure that would be nutty. But seeing a young guy who doesn't get national recognition and saying "you know, I think that kid is going to be special" is a perfectly valid thing to do. If we just made predictions on for-sure guys that everyone else is high on, that wouldn't really be a prediction at that point. Nothing wrong with taking risks.
Heard BRU is coming back!! EDIT: According to Volquest, Bru is out of eligibility and has no potential avenue to return. So he almost certainly won't be back.
@BDEntertainment423 so there's been a lot of question about that recently, including Tawkin Vols episode, and the consensus is that he's out of eligibility. Apparently this stems over him being suspended for 2021 season over domestic violence charges that were later dropped due to lack of evidence. So, people thought that he could appeal that suspension and get another year. But, according to Volquest (Brent Hubbs), there is no possible avenue for Bru to return. So I would just assume that he's gone unless something else develops. Sorry for confusion.
Hind sight is so 20/20. Georgia don’t thorton catch the ball. We would have been in field goal range to be ahead in Georgia in 4th quarter. Wide receivers an oline get better. Nico can throw for 3k 3500 yards

Thank you! He has not publicly declared but he's going to the draft for sure. He won't be back next season.

Late in the process Jefferson became "non recruited" by Tennessee. Maybe because he informed Pope he was "Alabama's".

I don't think he can? Started his career in 2019 at USC. Even with the injury wouldn't he be out of eligibility?
