@@ectrosvideolibrary I think it worked better in Subahibi. TBH I feel Takuji breaking harder than shinii, if that's even possible. Shinji had a pretty strong mental state until understandable forces broke it. Takuji was slipping from the start.
@@shikitohno1756 Very true. Shinji even had confidence at times, even if it led to incidents like what happened with Leliel. Takuji only started getting more confident the more unstable he became. Both are undoubtedly fascinating characters in their own respects.
I remember this song very well not because I've heard it in eva or in this visual novel but because of a snow globe my grandma used to have that I would play with when I was a kid. Im glad I could have a memory like that and so I hold this song close to me and I won't really forget it because of how many times I winded up the snow globe and heard this song.
Because Takashima-san's seamen-covered flowers are here, Takashima-san isn't. Because Takashima-san's seamen-covered desk and seamen-covered flowers are here, Takashima-san isn't. It's not strange. Relax. Too Relaxed. This seamen-covered desk is in place of her. It is covered in seamen because she is not here. Because it is not covered in seamen, she is here.
Better than the original compositon honestly. Rhytm and mood is totally a top notch. As most commentators said, it's really well described Takuji's state of mind and it most fits to his streams of consciousness. Aside that, it feels so good to experience this song in delirium condition, - may be alcohol or another thing, - when mixed with calmness, nihilistic thoughts, self-importance, raised ego above everything, which exaltate you to zenith of this universe.
I heard this composition twice: firstly, Subahibi. After that, Evangelion. SubaHibi's vibe is similar to Evangelion in some ways. This version, though, is slightly better for me
takuji had delusions of grandeur and constantly thought he was a messiah worth kneeling down to, this song is probably trying to draw out the fact that he deems himself as divine as jesus. I mean it's hard to tell since everything is occuring in his mind but that seems to be the gist of it.
This song is the one that perfectly described Takuji's state of mind after everything's gone to hell
wonderful everyday for him… not HAHAHAHAH
I will never hear and feel this song the same way I did before playing this game.
This music fits the themes of lunacy in SubaHibi. Takuji losing it, Zakuro losing it, the cult and the nothingless.
Who would have known this song went so well with stark, raving fucking lunacy?
It was used in Evangelion to the same effect. 🤣

That's a simple yet beautiful composition
I agree, it's so pretty
Listening to this while Takuji goes off on an another delusional tangent is peak fiction
This vn is unfathomably good.

Simple, but composed perfectly. Love it.
takuji conjures the spirits of the computer with his spells
Completely calm

Watching Eva years before hearing this in the game made it hit harder
Man, this Bach😵😵

insanity
This song is used to crash the atmosphere of the scenes in SubaHibi
though it is very beautiful
Tbh this song just adds up to the mix of insanity ingame
I remember when this played right after the desk
Hola Ping0309
that's because they used the song in eva
Nazzareno If I’m correct, it’s based on a classical piece. It’s such a beautiful song.
lol it's exactly "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" by J.S Bach (BWV 147), even BGM has the same name
How to enjoy Bach, Evangelion, the SICP lectures, and subahibi at the same time
essa so me lembra do takuji dando aquele bom dia danado no pistolão
Takuji did nothing wrong

For me, this song is beautiful, because it summs up all mankind struggles with life.

Dose evangelions have the same name?
@@teddynordin7885 idk if you found it or not but its "The End of Evangelion - Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude" on youtube

Great Song
Slow Damage ost
Oh, I think this is a slightly different arrangement than the popular Myra Hess version
There's an evangelion 3.0 + 1.0 trailer with a variation of this song as the background music: ruclips.net/video/UCWzSG-omFs/видео.html
Why isn't anyone talking about Jesus? Isn’t this Bach’s song praising Jesus?

It was in End of Evangelion
