Yes, the Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) has negative marking for incorrect answers in the preliminary examination of the UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Civil Services Exam.
For each incorrect answer, one-third of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted as negative marking. However, there is no negative marking for unanswered questions, so candidates can choose to leave a question unanswered if they are not sure about the answer.
