Coyote Stark...his ressurection is glorious honestly and his design is pretty amazing ! To produce cero like that at that speed and power, it's pure destruction, just in a different way than Barragan. He is also one of the most balance Espada in term of all skills ! His number 1 is well deserved, also one of the rare natural Arrancar in the group.
Starrk is "master of basic" His reiatsu is the reason he become #1 His Sonido is one of the fastest His brain is truly smart and maybe the 2nd smartest among all Espada after Syazelapporo The biggest downside is he can't fight alone (without Lilynette) and lazy
Just the fact that Cero is considered to be arrancar's strongest regular skill and Starrk can fire it almost infinitely, without performing a gesture and with a rate far surpassing a minigun, is a good demonstration of the power house he truly is. He is extremely deadly but probably the least aggressive of all the Espada.
its unfortunate that for plot purposes he has to miss almost every shot because if people get hit by them they die immediately and if they didnt then he'd look like fodder

For Shunsui, any opportunity is an opening, no matter how petty -- like how he insinuated hurting Lilinette to provoke a response.
It's a very smart way to battle. Starrk here is squaring off with two captains, neither of which can go in for a definitive blow against him. Playing fair against that would be unwise.

His carefree/cutthroat deceptive dual personality, high-risk/high-reward abilities, and even double-edged unorthodox military strategies as the Captain Commander. Kyoraku is a professional gambler.

Anime / Manga pacing and plot timing are usually the thing(s) causing situations like this. The fights probably "happened" all at the same time, and it's not exactly easy or desirable to try to explain and show a timeline with an order. So, most likely, all of the fights ended at the time of the garganta. What may have been a good idea, would be to make the garganta "appear" at the end of each of the fights and then cut off there, so that when it happened here we could be like "oh, ok, they all happened at the same time".

The double swords from the two captains are not bankai, they are just shikai. Even the swords that return cero. If a captain does not say "bankai" it is not a bankai, unless the bankai has already been revealed previously that the animators chose to omit the mentioning of it.
