- A trashcan fire broke out last night in the Gaslamp District of San Diego. Firefighters were on the scene in minutes to extinguish the out of control blaze, as terrified onlookers looked on. No one was injured, but one jacket was lost in the fire. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, at St Mattress. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the fire.

My guess is the poor trashcan died of cigarette butt.
