I sure miss that place..used to troll with my 12ft boat..caught probably a few thousand stripers out there, and a few hogs.bout 10 yrs ago.I've had 50-60 striper days out there before..throwing shad rap and x rap lures and trolling super jumbo minnows..good vid..!!
Great day in the dwc! Glad to see you can still catch fish after a big ship comes through. We never seem to do good after a ship passes. New sub. Hope to see you out there this winter.
There are no public boat launches at the deepwater channel. There is a ramp you can roll a kayak down or take a float tube or if you can carry a small boat but that's it. If you want to trailer a boat you I have to be a member of the private boating club but it takes years on a waiting list to become a member.
Just found your channel. New sub. Do you mind telling me your rods and reels setup or what you recommend for arig trolling? Thanks for sharing your adventures.
That hot rod was a custom seeker med heavy paired with a Lew's super duty 300 with 40 pound braid. If im trolling for striper with Arigs then ill go with a med heavy or heavy rod.
I have a new screen subscribe to I wanted to know where your lunch at because we're from Madera and we've been down a few times we can never find a place for lunch at we don't know the area and can you give me a few names of the stores that sell that was mudsuckers around here if you can please thank you
There isn't really a launching area around here for that part of deep water channel. There's only a private boat launch and launch area at barge canal that fits only smaller boats and kayak which you'll have to wheel it down only. I picked up the mudsucker at Ghost bait and tackle
Awesome video 👍🏽
