Steakhouse 71 Dinner at Disney's Contemporary Resort | Walt Disney World 2021

We share our dinner experience at the NEW Steakhouse 71 located in Disney's Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World. On this dining experience we celebrate the 50th Anniversary, 700 subscribers and Magbis birthday. We had lots to celebrate on this day.
Steakhouse 71 is inspired by the opening year of Disney's Contemporary Resort and Disney World in 1971. It was also formerly The Wave restaurant and it was transformed to the beautiful 70's modern style steakhouse. The restaurant had a simple sleek 70's with modern style to it. It also had beautiful photos of Walt, Roy and the team before it all opened back in 1971. It had a bright and 70's ambience.
The food was all inspired by Walt and his family and food items on the menu where foods that Walt and his family enjoyed. Some of the cocktails were also inspired by the citrus groves that were growing here before Disney World and Disney Contemporary was ever built. There are several different choices of steaks on the menu including some like the 12 oz. Roasted Prime Rib & Classic Yorkshire Pudding, 10 oz. New York Strip, and the Classic French Onion soup. They also offer 6 different choices of steak sauces. Plus, several choices of sides to accompany your steaks. The desserts were incredible like the Ambrosia and the Crème Brulee. It was an amazing birthday dining experience and all the food we had was delicious.

Happy (belated) birthday Magbis!!! This restaurant looks phenomenal. Hoping to dine here during my next trip, in May! And I, too, get a bit emotional when it comes to Walt and this incredible dream of his. Don't even get me started on how determined his brother was to make WDW great and a tribute to him, even after his passing😭It's an extremely special place, and the more I have learned about all that went into starting it, the more I appreciate it. Walt would be proud of what it has grown to become! Great video!

Better French Onion Soup than Be Our Guest's?!? I feel like watching that soup footage on repeat slow-mo! So glad I was one of your earliest subscribers, your videos helped me so much, getting through all those depressing months of pandemic shut-down.
Yes we hate to say it. But it surpassed Be Our Guest French Onion soup. Be Our Guest is second now for us..still awesome soup too in a Disney restaurant. Thanks for being one of our first subscribers and for always watching. We are glad we are getting you through the pandemic in good spirits.

I’m sorry to hear that you could not get dinner reservations. We heard the breakfast was super delicious, too. It is a new popular restaurant. Reservations are hard to get right now. That place looks amazing! 🤤 I love how they kept the prices affordable yet didn’t sacrifice on the quality 🥩. I’m glad you both did different desserts than the chocolate cake, I feel like every other channel did the chocolate cake so it’s good to know their other desserts are just as good too. Thank you for the birthday wishes. We are happy to share our parks and dining experiences. We love chocolate but we know it’s too much chocolate. Paul is also not a huge fan of so much chocolate. We wanted to show something different on deserts too.

Yes some guests feel safe wearing a mask. Most guests don’t wear it anymore as face coverings requirements have changed since this video. But Disney doesn’t require one now unless you take the monorail. That most likely will change, too. Thanks for watching. 😊
