    Smps switch mode power supply Low ampere divace ke liye bast hai lekin jab hi ampere amplifier audio board chalana Ho toh waha trasformar hi use Kia jata hai jaise 12volt 5 ampere 24 v 5amp

    The power consumption of transformer 50 hz iron core is also low at no load, it has more than 90% efficiency.but it power loss is more than ferate core smps transformer.

    Ham 12. 0.12 5amp transformer ki voltage ko regulet kar sakte hai 4 diode 2200uf 25 volt capisitor 78012 ic 3055 tragistor ke duara jo d class ki audio amplifier ko bahtar tarike se chala sakta hai

    No comparison are unbiased unless we have disadvantages of both. Nothing in the universe has only advantages. In smps power supply we have so many components made by different companies by different pin configuration for copyright monopoly. So if we add components in linear power supply it's most effective. Business decides everything.

      ​@@vccground-hindiCompare the input voltage and current of any smps with its output voltage and current. One finds that for daily life requirements like power adaptors up to 30 watts, the losses in amps are substantial. Size, certainly is small but efficiency is poor for smps.

    Sir,
    Few comments:
    Instead of comparing just only Transformer with SMPS, it sounds better to compare LINEAR REGULATED Power Supply with SMPS to have similar comparison.
    As you discussed in Point No.3 My understanding is that the Transformer No Load Losses are not same as are full load current losses (No Load Losses are core + Copper losses), Load losses are added to no-load losses & the load loss is proportional with power supply load (current).

      Efficiency of a poorly designed SMPS will always be bad. But it will still beat it's linear counterpart. Always go for good branded power supplies for better performance and less power losses ❤️👍

    All your videos are simply outstanding with very focused content. The concepts are explained in a very lucid manner.
    Constructive criticism: the observation 7:14 that the conventional transformer consumes same amount of power regardless of load on the secondary winding does not seem to be correct.

      In comparison to SMPS, transformer based power supplies are much simpler to use, easy to build and they last longer. But for today's digital devices, transformer based supplies are not fit enought to provide a constant output.

    their are many fault in smps compair to trans , like smd ics smd resisters is no found in market if the smps is failer their is no way but disposed, the smps ,but the transformer is more reliable I like transformer

    Master ji output में 1,2,3 amp. तक 7 volt से लेकर 17,18...20 volt तक smps बनाना सिखाएं इनमे से कोई भी मनचाहा volt तक बनाना सिखाएं
