This song is representative of the vocaloids themselves. The first alice, MEIKO, was new and innovative and struck the path for others to follow. The second, KAITO, was well liked however his popularity didn't last and soon he was forgotten. The third, Miku, was a 'Queen'. Extremely popular and will 'reign' for eternity. Finally, the counterparts, Rin/Len, whom are the fourth alice follow the path left to them; however their popularity will not last and they will be "killed" by the next "ALICE"

Well, I don't think there are any vocaloid - based shows, I'm 99% sure they animated it.

This song was also made a long, long, /long/ time ago. Before Luka. Maybe before Gakupo. Vocaloid2 was just out. It was before the engine and everything was refined and they made it more realistic. The original Vocaloid engine, like, V1, was really rough, and V2 was until they updated. It's just old software and stuff.

A book didn't want to be forgotten so it lured people in. meiko, lady red, was the first. She apparently killed others and she became lost inside. The trail of blood lets others know where she is. Kaito a singer brought sound to the world.
It's crazy how all the versions made of this give a totally different feeling to the viewer!

But a madman shot him dead, and his blood made beautiful roses. Miku was the third, a most precious girl who was on top of the world. However, to her, everything was rotting. Len and Rin were lured and trapped inside the story. At least thats what i can say from other video translations. In some Rin and Len were killed by Meiko, others they became trapped. Same with Miku. She died, or she didn't.
The Alice Killings are nothing but an urban legend. They were on /creepypasta/, by definition, that is a site for stories meant to merely scare the crap out of you. Like scary stories 'round a campfire.

It seems to me the Dream is unhappy with the first three Alices. So it punishes them. It kill the First Alice of Spades, the Second Alice of Diamonds, and eternally curses the Third Alice of Clovers. However, it was happy with the final Alice, the Heart. Why? Because these two revelled in the Dream and explored it, paying attention to the dream. So, the Dream forever trapped them inside, because it didn't want to get forgotten.
These are my thoughts.

When you see the foot step in the blood during the Forth Alice, it is actually a reference to the one actual bit of evidence that was found for all four murder cases, although the footprint in the twins' room was to smudged and damaged to be identified.

@atticusandzanelovers It's not a show, it's a voice synthesizer program, used to generate voices. They made the illustrated characters for the voicebanks to make it more interesting^^
And the other question: The first alice(Meiko) was trapped like a criminal in the woods, the second alice(Kaito) killed himself, the third alice(Miku) was poisoned(I think), and the fourth alice(Rin & Len), Len killed Rin and then himself. So that's why you hear about different alice's.

@animegal5252 I haven't even seen that much. Yeah, it's because they had different releases. The reason why many things will get confused, is because there are also different softwares.
People also try to make a point that Miku has "01" on her arm. But Meiko has "00" and then the others follow suit. That is only because they were a part of a separate series. I can't remember the name right now...

The vocaloids sing about the alice's and not about themselves as alice's, or thats what I think...
Every time I see people think this song i based off of actual murders I loose faith a little more faith in vocaloid fans.
I think it's actually supposed to represent different characters that Alice actually met in Wonderland. I know Kaito is supposed to represent the Mad Hatter that gets stuck there, Miku is supposed to represent the Queen of Hearts that gets stuck there, and Rin and Len are supposed to represent Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum... I can't find the paralellism between the first Alice, though.
+Haley Masenthin the nice thing about this song is that it's vague enough to be interpreted in multiple ways. I think the producer of this song did take inspiration from the Wonderland characters, however my personal favorite interpretation is that each Alice represents the story of each Vocaloid. Meiko was the very first vocaloid, but wasn't very popular and probably would be unknown if she did make the path for the others. Kaito was also unpopular, and allegedly had a very bad voice (singing twisted notes). The. Of course Miku is the queen who will always rule and so on.

The so-called "Alice Killings" never happened. If it was such a huge thing, you would find some sort of credible source, but if you were to look, all you get is the original creepypasta or people claiming it's related to this song.

The Yellow Alice (the Twins) were naive. The Green Alice invited them over to her castle for tea (yes, tea) and they tried to go there. But they were so amazed of the sights in Wonderland that they went crazy.
And in some versions, the brother shot the sister. That would explain why they couldnt leave Wonderland. Because they eneter Wonderland as ONE Alice, so they couldn't just leave with a half of one.

In the end of each part of the drama, the little boy sits with a doll looking like the person whose drama it is. And they actually all died.
