I really like your style and the way your mind works when creating art. Free and easy. I am similar; don't like to be structured too much. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely love this brand new exclusive technique you developed, Traci. I really hope people will reward you for all of your talent and kind sharing with us all. We have it so easy now. In the old days, we had to go to a craft store and take a class that cost at least $25 plus materials. You have made a major investment in materials and supplies and you are so willing to share your talents with us. The least we can do is support you with a few dollars and encourage you to keep doing what you do so well. Thanks again for being there for us!❤️
Brilliant! I had this idea that I wanted to start recycling my artwork into earrings. So I started looking for tutorials on that and discovered you. You are a wonderful teacher and I love your process. Thank you so much!
Pretty. Two pages in a laminated sheet will separate when the edges are cut. I've been seeing several people do paper jewelry lately. Resin is the greatest tool! Your mixed media is nice.
Thank you so much for this wonderful tutorial…. How am I going to drag myself away from your channel????…. Love your work and appreciate the time you have put in to this tutorial and all of your others too. Keep them coming and the super thanks is a great idea x
Very nice . I have been making paper earrings for a while now . I get the dollar tree small bags of different papers and I use them in my cricket joy , I stack maybe two or three papers depending on the thickness also paper hole punches do a great job . Resin them then I use a small paper punch for the ear wire . I also do the jeliprints then mod podge them onto my wood earrings blanks as well as polymer clay blanks . I call it wall papering my earrings ! So fun and no limit to the imagination!
I saw a guy who makes something similar with layered paper he paints. I make shaped layered sheets with paper, old cards, painted papers, cereal boxes, i have never laminated them only resin but i love adding wire to mine. I’ve been making them since 2008. Can also use melted vinal records are really fun too
I've recently found your videos and wanted to say a heartfelt "thank you" , you are so informative and explain everything in "idiot-proof" language , that even a new crafter to this medium can follow easily . I hope you know just how much your craft, your time and your videos are appreciated , thanks again !
@@happyplacestudio I tried this process and had a problem. The paper separated between the lamination. I used the exact same products you did. How do I prevent the paper from separating. It was a fail and not sure how to fix it. Do you ever have the issue where it separates? Any ideas? My husband looked at it and he questioned how the edges get sealed? This is my first resin project. Thank you!
I had it happen once. Make sure the resin is going all the way to the edge, maybe on the edge, so it adheres fully around. If it does separate, you can use glue to adhere together
Love the flower papered original earrings! You do beautiful work. ⭐️ May I request a “star, X, or ❤️” in the center of your video workspace? Also this is the first time I've seen the Thanks Button on You Tube, I like this so much more than the patronage pages people seem to be using now. I hope the You Tube THANKS button becomes a trend. I don't want another monthly bill but will gladly pay for loved tutorials. You are very talented and creative!
I really appreciated the video and happy to add a payment to your $Thanks account. Although I will never use the info to make anything I did appreciate you sharing your technique, your warm personality and the very friendly, helpful vibe of your whole presentation. I have now subscribed to your channel so I don't miss anything.
@@happyplacestudio Right now I am a painter. I also do collage, write, in the midst of learning to make journals, bookbinding, and other paper craft. My previous creative forays include stained glass work, weaving, beadwork, jewellery, and wire wrapping. I am really old so have had a lot of time to try lots of different crafts and love each of them.
Thanks! Love all your tutorials but this one is just what I needed for my paper earrings! I am liking what I’ve made with this technique but I’m not as successful as you are at drilling the holes for the ear wires. Sometimes it works and sometimes it causes the earring to delaminate. I got the drill you use from your Amazon shop but I’m not sure I’m using the right drill bit. Suggestions?
Can't say this is a style I care to try, but others may. But with that said, this is basically just a paper collage, in which even if someone were to copy the general concept, I don't even think you could produce the same result repeatedly. (meaning each piece will be different as with most resin art) But I can't help but see a lot of material being used that ends up being cut away. I might suggest accomplishing the same result with photoshop. You can get various images, layer them together in similar ways, then print the final result to be used in your jewelry pieces. Just cause its digital, doesnt mean its cheating. You can still plop random brush patterns or whatnot on your image just as you are doing with your paint for your desired effect, yet it wont cost you more than the cost of a print, and if you don't like a particular layer, you just turn it off. And if you want to create a 3d effect, its easy to add shadow and other effects to make something you probably can't get with paper alone.
What paper waste did you see? I didn’t see her waste anything And like most crafters we tend to hold onto scraps and bits for future projects. I know I do.
@@TanKatLuvr1965 Sorry, not going to go back through a video i commented on 2 weeks ago to site evidence for my opinion on something. I suggested an alternate way of achieving a similar outcome. Yes some scraps may be usable, but a lot are not. But I also do not see anywhere I actually said things were wasted. I said cut away. Meaning shes creating a large initial piece for what I remember was a small final outcome. Whether she used the other parts for other pieces, I dont know, nor care. Either way, a digital version could produce a repeated pattern if desired, or be specifically sliced in 100 different ways, then printed with exact measurements for the pieces so there would be little to no waste.
Absolutely love this technique and find it fascinating that you use a laminator. May I ask what inspired you to do this? What is the reasoning/benefit behind it being laminated? Your work is gorgeous and got me motivated at 2 am to get up and create when I was having trouble sleeping. Thank you for sharing your talent!!
What are the names of the tools your using in making these? I'm not familiar with them, and it would help to know what they are and where to purchase them? Same with using the uv light thing Which you did off camera... More info would help a lot...

Love your videos! Question: I don't have a laminator, is that a have to have thing in order to make these? I taught PreK & Kinder for 12 years and was always laminating things. With that old laminator I couldn't cut pieces out like you're doing because the film would peal apart. Do you ever have that problem? Laminator is on my wishlist!

Last yr I spent 3 months creating jewelry, coasters, Christmas ornaments, etc w/al ink. Even though I took safety precautions, I got sick. I had to quit using al inks. It took me 3 months to recover.
