I followed your tutorial and made my first ever wedding screen for my sister's wedding this weekend. Just wanted to say thank you so much for sharing - it turned out wonderful! Thank you so much, your tutorial is amazing 🤩❤️🥰
I discovered you last year and you inspired me to make my first macramé wall hanging after I learnt some basic knots, I instantly subbed as you’re an absolute delight to watch 💖 When I shared my macramé wall hanging on my Instagram people DM’d me asking how and I pointed them all towards your channel to learn simple knots for themselves so they could get creative. I’ve not even started watching this video yet but I know I’m going to add it to my faves. Ever since I made my first piece I knew I wanted to make a huge one for our wedding and I’m so excited to watch this 💖 Keep up all these amazing videos, I hope so many more get into macramé through you, it’s so calming and therapeutic 🙌🏽 sorry for the essay, just had to share some love xxx
I don’t know why I haven’t seen you before…I had looked for macrame backdrops in the past for a party but I went with something else - my daughter wanted flowers…long story and it would definitely take more than a minute to explain. I love your causal attitude, not saying it’s bad but I did enjoy it. Definitely going to watch more of you videos👍🏼
Wow , i was looking at patterns for over $20 and the instructions were hard to follow. Then I find you, OMG! I am making an alter for my daughters wedding and this is PERFECT! Your video is fun and very easy to learn from. You are a joy to watch.. Thanks!
Hi Chelsea, I’m making your beautiful backdrop for my daughters wedding. This is the first Macramé project I have done in years. I asked God to put the creative spirit back in me and look what he is doing?!?!? Can I send pics on here?? Hmm anyway, you are precious and I love your accent 😊♥️
Hey I wanted to make this for my wedding in August and I loved your design more than most I see. What size cord did you use. And how much of it do I need to buy. Do you have suggestions on places to buy the cord? Thanks so much for your help
she said she used about 42 of the 20’ lengths. So 42x20= 840 feet of cord. Then she said 48 pieces at 15’ each, so that’s an additional 720 feet of rope. Meaning it would take at least 1560 feet of rope to copy hers.
GREAT VIDEO! I love your tutorials, especially the more advanced ones because there are so few advanced tutorials online! Thank you Chelsea, I love your energy and your creativity!
This is so much prettier than the wedding arches most brides use. Beautiful job, girl. You and your hubby are such a cute couple. God bless you both. Hugs from Florida 🌴😎💕😎🌴
This is absolutely gorgeous and you are too! I will be making this for my wedding this year. Gonna be starting it in a week I do have a question though. In the begging when you have all ropes on the dowel, how should i place them length wise. In the video, You said "longer ones on the ends and the shorter ones in the center." When I counted it looked more like 21 long, 42 short, 21 long. Is that right? I'm sorry for asking a year and a half after you made this video
Hi Chelsea. I love your videos and and how you teach. This is such a beautiful piece and I ordered my rope last September. 😆 8 months later and about to start your project. Fingers crossed. Thankyou Jo
Now this I love!! Thanks! It's a Dowel sweetie! You can use whatever you'd actually prefere depending on what you want to do with it. Like a curtain, or wall yes, thick yarn would work fine! ❤ Absolutely beautiful!!
Hey girl! I love your videos! I really wanna make this for my wedding. About how long did it take you. I've been indecisive for so long and now it's crunch time lol.
Want to make this for my daughter's wedding! From what I saw the top row count was grouped 18 Long - 3 Short - 12 S - 18 S - 12 S - 3 S - 18 L. + plus the braided part...is this correct????
Thank you for this tutorial! I just counted your ropes and you said to make 42 @20 ft and 48 @15 ft but I think I need to half that because of the locks head knots that essentially double the rope. Is that right?
This was amazing! How good are you at deconstructing a piece and remaking it? There are some more wall hangings and curtains I would love to see you do
Love this !!! Would love to see you make a ocean themed one like with fish in it I’ve seen it on Etsy and I love it but I don’t wanna pay so much if I Could make one myself!!!! Hope you see this I can send u a picture of it and see if you can do it!!
A lot of free ugly fish macrames all over the net & RUclips for free! I liked Chelsea's because she didn't do the fish! She has some really pretty ones like this one!! 😊
Hello Chelsea, Quick question. I’m basically a beginner and my question is, how do i know how tight to make the knots? Are they just snuggled up or really since down on them?
Wow I am making this backdrop as a beginner and am so disappointed that you did not show how you started the middle section. What kind of tutorial doesn’t show you that??

Thoughts on if this would work with 4mm rope or how wide it would be with the smaller rope? Thanks for this awesome video!
Just curious what the final measurements of this is?

Hello! Thank you a lot for the tutorial! I have a question, you use 20ft cords, but how tall was your arch please? I want mine 2,2m high.
