@@DunnMotors you as well brother! Loving the quad content.
@TRDTalk Thanks brother 🙏
I have some others coming out soon and I have a Tacoma one coming out as well.
I drive to 2023 TRD Sport 2wd , great truck & love it right now air dam is still on with no plans to remove it, to me it's a personal choice , so far I feel toyota put on for a reason . So for now it stays on & I'm happywith it😊
@@erickim2025 no reason to take it off then Eric, thanks for watching 🙏
Great content as always dude! Ride safe and enjoy your ride ✌🏻
Thanks for the kind words brother!
I keep it on! for my 2023 trd sports
2020 SR in grey. I left mine on. I feel colour makes a difference. It is more noticeable on the lunar rock than grey.
@@danhobbs8505 that’s actually a fair point. Good take!
Still have yet to do this, so in addition to having a different dog and tires, this marks another. Thanks forbthe upload!
@@CTEnglishCafe1 different dog 😂 thanks for watching!
I had my for 2 months it’s lifted 2 inches have all-terrain tires and i have a silver TRD pro and were the front part of everybody’s truck is black mine is silver not black and I bought my truck used because I was trying to get a 20 2310 where I go at this my daughter‘s uncle the head salesman of the Toyota dealership and has been for a very long time so that’s where I go but then he sells so many trucks they didn’t have nothing so he sent me well I looked online and I found to use the ones that I want it long is a blue TRD off road Electric blue add 17 inch factory TR the forerunner rims it was a really nice truck and it had like 70,000 68,000 something like that miles and I found the silver TRD pro so I was watching a RUclips video and the two brothers got to come visit in the one got the TRD with a hood scoop and the other one that has the off-road and that they made a video showing to two brothers at Tacoma‘s and one has the Trd pro with the hood scoop I’m not gonna lie I didn’t pay attention to the hood scoop at first but once I got in the truck and it was already raised 2 inches and when I got into the truck this dude lady she was really cool like she told me about the guy he owns it and business and he drove it back-and-forth to work but it was one of their customers they been down with for a while they actually have a Lotta nice trucks but want to jump in there and it was raised up to inches with the all-terrain tires with a hood scoop it just makes the truck not feel like a small pick up you got five foot bed but that’s a good thing because we don’t have to help nobody move lol 👍👍👍👍 A friend of mine told me that years ago he said he got a pick up don’t tell nobody he said because everybody wants need something if you got a pick up truck I said why always had a third vehicle and most of the time it was a pick up truck but I just really wanted to get a V-6 before they were gone especially the 4 Jen
That pairs nicely with the tow hooks, oh wait
I’m driving a 2020 TRD Off Road double cab shortbed premium package in silver. It just rolled over 40k miles. Got it just over a year ago & couldn’t be any more pleased! Absolutely love it!
@@carolinawoods-n-water4392 love it! premium package is underrated
Make sure that you fluid film or surface shield the underbody. I think Crown is up in your area that will work. Ya they all make a mess but my 22 in Minnesota has no rust I've put a coat on every fall. Worth the cost if you're keeping the truck!!
@@cbayless4294 had a rust spray done when I took it off the lot. Wouldn’t survive in Canada without it haha. Thanks for watching!
Now do a longer trip with and without the air dam for a better MPG test
No air dam, no problem!
@@RobsAutos yes sir! hope you’re keeping well Rob :)

I had one too on my 23 Tacoma got about 23 to 25 mpg when I was on the highway with it on when I took it off, I got about 22 to 24.5 on the highway you lose about maybe 1 or 2 mpg’s highway
@@wilyceyote thanks for the confirmation. I think it’s worth it to keep off.
@@TRDTalk the biggest common denominator is it an automatic or manual? And how do you drive it as well? Determines how many mpg you get long-term just saying as well
Oh yeah I see I can’t tell if your truck is there gray or that green I forget the name of it from the picture I’m looking at it I don’t have my glasses on and I’m blind
Haha it’s the colour Lunar Rock! A bit of gray and green.
I own a 2023 Nissan Frontier Pro 4x. Living in Alberta.
@@Blue-moon12 love it. how’s the Frontier treating you?
@TRDTalk So far so good. I bought it in November 2023, first ever brand new vehicle. Love that it's naturally aspirated etc. I have no brand loyalty, I do own a Toyota vehicle and have owned plenty when I was back in England. Hi-Lux, Corrola GTIs and Celica's. I enjoyed your video.
@@Blue-moon12 lots of Toyota owners will be moving to the Frontier for the V6. Can’t believe Toyota got rid of it on the new models. Thanks for the kind words! Cheers from Ontario.
I’m driving a 2020 Tacoma red sports
@@JohnClark74 love the barcelona red 🙏
Does look better without the air dam to me.
@@georgebradley1672 agreed 🙏
I just bought a used 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport I wanted the V6 and I wanted the TRD Sport because I wanted the hood scoop also son what I found out he didn’t have any vehicles and I start looking online and I found two that was priced reasonable and the trucks look from the pictures I’ve seen look very well taken care of and they were not too far from my home the ones like a half an hour yellow one was like an hour I end up buying the silver 2018 Trd PRO had no I think it’s like a 3 inch lift shocks it’s not the little things that you buy to raise your truck up in the front shocks and springs
2 inch in the front and back I Believe because I looked them up online and I watch some videos they were comparing This brand to Eibaxh and the guy was saying the brand I had I think he was saying the Bilstein /OME 5100
Driven Companion his channel talks about the shocks he put them on his 4 runner and the other video that compare the two is
Shocks Surplus is the name of the RUclips channel
Congrats on the new truck 👏
@@TRDTalk thank you
2022 TRD OR DCLB in lunar rock (the best of many awesome colors)! Down with air dams! Down with sway bars! Send them to hell! 🍻thanks for the video and great truck.

Sweet!
"find your 10mm" this modification is no longer possible
@@YBGANG 😂😂😂
The air dam is just fugly as hell. They could have done this so much better. Shame on Toyota....
@@hungp.8191 honestly I couldn’t look at it anymore 😂. Agreed
@@TRDTalk Could have color match it to blend it in with the truck 😂🤣
Bout time
💪💪💪
@@TRDTalk looks sick buddy
I don't know how you are getting over 23 mpg. I have a 23 Taco Sport with wheels and tires just a little bigger than stock, just a small leveling kit in the front, and no air dam and the very best I could ever get on a warm day on the highway in cruise control is 21 mpg
@@ASM679746 I was just as surprised as you 😂
I appreciate your efforts but that airdam is only effective at highway speeds. 5 miles of city backroad driving doesn't tell the whole story.
Exact reason for the test and me taking it off 🙏
I have a 2023 SR 5 V6 4wd . I drive 75 miles one way to my office. I’ll do a response video capturing the results from mostly highway driving on my channel and tag your video. I’m interested if there is much of a difference. Stay tuned!
@@nycmaverick curious how you like the Tacoma in comparison to the Maverick. I am seeing them everywhere

My Honda Ridgeline RTL gets 28 MPG on the freeway. Others on RUclips are getting up to 30 MPG.
Redline magazine tested and achieved 30 MPG.
Honda Ridgeline is not a truck
@@TRDTalk
It looks like a truck. It's a truck.
There's a body on a frame truck.
There's a unibody truck.
All future trucks will be unibody trucks.
No 4wd either. It'll be AWD.
