Why do hospital beds have a “CPR Release”?

Hospital bed CPR release is a standard configuration for an ICU bed, it can flat the bed in very limited time for rescue. But what is the difference between manual CPR and one button electric CPR?
Manual CPR is normally achieved from the handles located on both sides in a mechanical way by adopting a special motor for backrest, it will trigger the operation by pulling the handle to have flat backrest within 2 seconds maximum.
While the one button CPR is achieved through electrocircuit control, it can flat the bed completely not only for backrest but also all positions. Sometimes, when the the bed is positioned in a complicated state, it is not possible to do CPR just via flatting the backrest. The one button CPR control the bed to return a flat position from complicated positions with lower height for easy CPR operation.

Lol who knew i would be searching this up. My sister is admitted in hospital (she's pregnant) and i was wondering about the Cpr button on her bed. Stayed all night with my sister(with only 2 hours of sleep😄).

Does this bed do Percussion for ventilator patients? Does it perform Rotation? You need to do a full video on this ICU bed.

@@medik2697 What brand and Model Number is this bed? It looks like a wonderful bed. These types of beds are CRUTIAL for patients in ICU, who are at higher risk for bed rest related complications. It might not have Percussion, and Vibration, and Continuous Lateral Rotation Therapy, but it looks like It's a GREAT BED!!!
