    Hi Jonathan,Always like to hear your playing...Love that G&L Guitar..Enjoyed the Demo..I'm using one of these,except running to the Atlantic from a SY-1 Boss Guitar Synthesizer..The SY-1 has a Hold function-so you can Freeze the note or Chord-and play over the top of it using your regular guitar sounds from a modeler..The Atlantic does a great job-in a Small space,of filling out the sounds with Excellant Reverb and Delay..Shimmer Function adds to the the synth sounds even more..The SY-1 is smaller than the Atlantic..And Tracks like a Champ..I Also use the Atlantic on occasion with only my guitar..Win-Win all the way around.Hoping 2021 is a Better year for All of Us..

    It’s a great pedal indeed, I have used it for awhile now on sessions and tours. Only issues I ran into is it will not update with the firmware and a voodoo lab pedal power won’t power it. But that being said it still works great using a separate 9volt adapter for it. Definitely a main stay on my board.

      Thinking about this pedal, but would have to power it with a voodoo lab pedal power2+. From what I know outlets five and six are capable of up to 500 MA if I remember correctly. I’m confused as to why the voodoo lab won’t power this pedal. Can you let me know if you’ve ever tried again and had different results?

    • @SPENCERGONZALEZ
      @SPENCERGONZALEZ 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@LucasHaneman I have powered it with a voodoo lab, as well as a pedal snake, running off of a daisy chain. The voodoo lab that I have is the first models that were ever released, that’s what I was using for sessions Wayback in the day I believe it’s from late 90s somewhere in there. but yeah, you may want to try powering it with a daisychain set up with a boss, adapter, or you can use if you can find the original voodoo lab pedal power the first ones that came out. Mine is a very old one, and I still use it to this day in studio and on tours.

    • @LucasHaneman
      @LucasHaneman 11 месяцев назад

      @@SPENCERGONZALEZ Thanks Spencer! I wonder if I would have a different situation than you as my pedal power 2+ is from the 2000s at some point. It Has additional M a available on a couple of the outlets as I say. I don’t wanna get myself into a weird situation though as I’ve heard mixed things on this pedal. What about tone suck? Do you find it degrades your signal in anyway? Is the sound quieter with the pedal turned on and the pedal turned off? I’m an active gigging musician like you so I just care a lot about reliability. The price difference between this and any other petals that do something similar is pretty substantial though and I like the idea of its simplicity.

    Another great demo complete with very tasty playing. I love what I've seen of this pedal, and mine is on its way as I type these words. I need both verb and delay, but have a very small board. (Size isn't everything, right?) I had an Oceans 12 and found it too complicated. The NUX looks perfect for my addled old brain; enough different sounds for me but still straightforward to use. Kudos Jon!

    Superb opening track Jonathan, especially for a pedal steel lover. It's a great pedal and priced to keep players happy too. I have a question on how you describe the stereo out: as I understand it from the manual you have the mono out jack, and next to it the one marked stereo. When you connect them both you have stereo, and mono only when you connect just the one marked mono (!) There is no mention in the manual of the jack socket marked 'stereo' requiring a TRS, and in fact on page 3 of the manual it only shows those two sockets as a stereo pair. Did you get stereo from the jack socket marked 'stereo' with a TRS jack? - if so the manual needs an update...please let me know!

    Hey Jon, I'm trying to decide on reverb and delay. I originally wanted an MXR carbon copy but then I still would need a reverb. Do you recommend a dual unit like this one or a different one? Or do you think I should get two separate pedals like the MXR Carbon Copy and Oceans 11 reverb? I could go either way at this point.

    Hi Jonathan, a question if I may: I am chasing Princes sound/tone such as his Little Red Corvette performance from Montreux on RUclips. Could you be so kind to shed some light on what mostly defines that tone? I know he's mostly a MB-man (but also uses Orange amps) and uses Boss paddles. In that specific video he seems to use a 2x humbucker strat which surprises me. Also I notice his tone sounds a lot like the Santana tone. Do you have any pointers on how to sound like this? It's mostly the "crying guitar" thing I'm after I guess. Thanks!!

      According to the description that you claim;
      “Pedals used in order for the song:
      Nux Masamune
      Nux Solid Studio NS5
      Nux Atlantic
      Recorded with the

      So, I assume that this is the actual signal order for recording?:-
